Chase had a case of love at first sight with Reno and the attraction for her was undeniable too, but Chase was known to be a womanising celebrity and she was definitely not the type for a one night stand.

Reno is strong enough to avoid temptation but when the final day of filming arrives and they celebrate with a party that night - she can no longer deny her feelings.

This was spicy hot and had a mix of sex scenes that Randi Alexander wrote with quite a saucy, enthusiastic flare. It was a well rounded erotica with a good mix of depth and naughtiness.

The reason it didn't get a higher rating from me was on a completely personal basis. I couldn't find myself relating to the ending of the book and would have acted completely different to the situation.

I look forward to reading more from Randi Alexander!

I enjoyed the Hollywood to Texas to South Dakota theme behind the book and the cowboy/musician/actor/writer story was interesting. Unfortunately, it was a little choppy in places. The beginning of the story leads you to believe that it is going to be a story of seduction – chase and catch – work for it – kind of book. But, all of a sudden Reno gives in. There was no lead up or ultimate seduction that you thought you would have since she was so against getting involved with Chase and the “glitz” of his lifestyle. One minute Reno is running from his trailer on the set and the next she is at a cocktail party and getting ready to jump into bed with Chase with no explanation as to why she changed her mind within 24 hours. On the same note, you have Chase writing and singing a beautiful love song for/to Reno and then turning into a crass “hick”, as he calls himself in the book. A little bit of whip-lash with the way the characters change from good to bad and then back to good again. I absolutely loved Chase when he was being open and honest with Reno. Then I absolutely hated him when he became the jerk that he was led to believe he was.

Ultimately I feel the author was trying to show all sides of the characters she created - loving, happy, sad, indifferent. I would have loved to have seen this book elaborate a little more on the background of both Reno and Chase. It seemed that when they started opening up to one another, a sex scene was thrown in. The scenes were very explicit and well written (HOT, HOT, HOT) but, sometimes, at odds with what was going on in the book at the time, which left me thinking “where did that come from?". We are given a hints of why they feel the way they do about themselves, why they are having hot, just-this-side-of Vanilla sex, but no real explanations.

Randi Alexander's website states that she mainly wrote romance fiction and that this is her first Erotic Romance. I am looking forward to reading the other books that she has scheduled to come out in the “Wild and Wicked Cowboys” series through Wild Rose Press. Overall, this book was a decent read with hot, sweaty sex and a happy ending.

Review by Sarah H: a hot, steamy read. Reno is quiet, reserved and has wanted Chase from the day they met. I like her character, but I get frustrated when she won’t allow herself to see the potential relationship right in front of her face. Chase – known for being a player - is passionate, wicked hot and so far fallen he can’t control himself. He knew the day he met Reno that she was something special and hadn’t been with a woman since. I like his determination and drive. He’s definitely someone I think would be easy to fall for.

I didn’t agree with Reno when she went to Europe. I feel she signed up as a way to run away from her issues and went to not have to face what was going on between the two of them. I also didn’t think she should have kept such a big secret form Chase. I kind of hated Chase in the dressing room scene, but he wasn’t a d-bag for too long. Both characters matured and worked through their major issues well in this story.

The story was well written, with only a few typos and wording issues. I think the author did a great job. Reno and Chase’s chemistry is insane and the sexual tension before they seal the deal is tense. I liked the dialogue and the descriptions weren’t overly wordy. Chase and Seduction hooked me the moment I opened it and didn’t disappoint!

Favorite Quote: He grinned. “You came to save me?”
“Yeah. No. I’m…” Scared? Horny? Jumpy? Tempted?
“Confused?”
“Yes!” What a relief. He understood her. Evidently, during all the talks they’d shared, he’d been listening to her.

In Chase and Seduction, Randi Alexander quickly seizes her readers’ attention with Chase and Reno’s sizzling sexual chemistry. Their resulting sex is extremely hot and erotic. But it is their romance that truly captures the heart.

Chase Tanner and Reno Linden are not your typical cookie cutter hero and heroine. Reno is carrying a few extra pounds and instead of lamenting being overweight, she unashamedly embraces her womanly curves. And that is just the beginning of Reno’s extraordinary and refreshing self-confidence.

What truly sets Chase and Seduction apart from other novels is Chase. While he oozes self-confidence and charm, he allows his underlying vulnerabilities to undermine their fragile new relationship. Ms. Alexander then takes their story in a new and unexpected direction that is sure to delight her readers.

Chase and Seduction is a compelling romance with a diverse and unpredictable storyline. Chase and Reno are three dimensional, vibrant characters who are flawed and imperfect, but that is what made them so engaging and likeable. The sex is plentiful and sizzling hot, and while not as BDSM oriented as other books in this series, it is adventuresome and a shade past vanilla. With a little more depth and a little less kink, Chase and Seduction is a wonderful addition to the Cowboy Kink line.

Chase Tanner is a world famous country singer with a wild reputation. He meets Reno Linden when he stars in a movie made from a book Reno wrote. While making the movie Chase tries to seduce Reno, but while she feels the strong sexual pull between them, she is afraid he will trample her heart.

Chase is the male country vocalist of the year and was voted the sexist man of the year. He is charming with his southern drawl and aw-shucks attitude, but is also a stubborn alpha male who feels inferior because he is uneducated. Chase’s stubbornness had me yelling at him at times, but his kind heart won me over.

Reno is a farm-raised small town-girl who lives in South Dakota miles from civilization. While Reno has been working on the movie in Las Angeles, she has missed the peace and quiet of her normal life. Even though Reno is smart she is insecure about her looks. I loved how Reno is always willing to forgive Chase for making a mistake.

CHASE AND SEDUCTION is delightful with down to earth characters, each struggling with their emotional baggage. While I enjoyed the story and the characters, I didn’t always understand the characters motivations. I wish Randi Alexander, shared more background information about Chase and Reno. Can Chase and Reno put their vulnerabilities behind them and move forward into a relationship?

I love a good cowboy story and let me tell you Randi Alexander has a talent for writing a good HOT cowboy story. So with that being said how could I help but LOVE Chase and Seduction.

Chase Tanner is one steaming hot country singer who does a little acting on the side. He meets Reno Linden while filming the movie for her best selling book. They form an instant friendship and they both want more but they take their time getting their. When they do become romantically involved look out these two are steaming hot!

There is a lot that these two have to over come to be together. There relationship is a good example of opposites really do attract. There is a few times I wanted to smack Chase and tell him to get his stuff together and go get Reno.

If you like cowboy stories, like I do, and enjoy a really good steamy story with a great storyline, then you really should grab up this story now. I think you will really enjoy it. I know I certainly did.

This is the first book in the Hot Country series. I can not wait to read Heart of Steele which is book number two. It is coming up soon in my to be read pile so stay tuned for my review soon.

I was given the opportunity to read this great book so that I my share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts about Chase and Seduction with you.

This was an awesome book. Great story, and with great characters. Can't wait for some of those secondary characters to get their story.

This is the story of Reno a writer. She wrote a book and was turned into a movie. While filming the movie she meets Coutry sensation Chase Tanner. Chase has a huge crush on Reno and Reno on crush. But neither want it to be akward while working together so holding off on anything happening. Reno thinks the only thing Chase wants is a one night stand. She wants more, she wants love and a relationship. Things go from there and they start dating. Reno then finds out that she is getting the teaching position she wanted and takes it. She lets Chase know, but he wanted her to stay and she needs to go. Chase feels like he can't compete with her smarts & fancy friends, and someone from her past lets him know that he should just let her go. Can Chase let the woman he loves go? Can Reno understand why Chase is leaving and what made him do it. Months pass and Reno has a little secret and she needs to let Chase know. Can these two make things right for everyones sake. Is love enough?

This was such a good story. Very steamy and sexy. Love their short love story, and I think most of the time love does conquer all.

This romance is sweet and hot. The sex kicks it up to blistering. The story is classic boy meets girl but has all the delicate nuances of building a relationship and it's challenges as they have very different backgrounds. Chase and Reno are likable, real people with insecurities and flaws. The past and the unwritten future for Reno & Chase will keep you reading till you get to the last page.

Reno Linden's bestselling novel, Prairie Fire has just finished filming. The wrap party is in full swing, Chase Tanner, handsome, country star and cowboy is inviting Reno to join him onstage. Now that filming has ended, Chase can't imagine not talking with Reno daily, Reno feels the same way. They've become good friends. Chase wants to take their relationship to the next level. Now all they have to do is share their feelings with each other.

Randi Alexander has again done a fabulous job of setting the story and taking me on a journey like I was a fly on the wall, listening to all the flirty repartee and sharing in the story. This is the first book of the "Hot Country" series and I cannot wait to read book two, "Heart Of Steele"!

Over the last four months Reno Linden has developed a close friendship with country star turned actor Chase Tanner. Reno is the complete opposite of Chase, she is intelligent, shy, and treats him like he is just another person. Chase has wanted to see what would develop and he finally has a chance, which ends up short lived. Reno doesn't feel she is what Chase needs, he is flashy, sexy, and could have any woman on the planet but for some reason Chase wants her.

This is actually a reread for me, I never wrote a review. What Reno and Chase both fail to realize is that they both are putting their insecurities first and allowing it to tear them apart. I think Reno understands more quickly than Chase who manages to make a muck of things but overall it works itself out. A little rushed towards the end with a big happy bow but otherwise an enjoyable story.

This book is Great. The Characters are real and you want to know them. They are not perfect and the story rings like it could come true. Reno the heroine is a writer and her book is being made into a movie staring Chase a drop dead gorgeous country western singer. He keeps hitting on her but she's skiddish and thinks she's not good enough for him! She's been hurt and doesn't want a one night stand. Chase wants someone who wants him for the person he is....and he thinks Reno is too good for him, but he wants her. When these two get together the sparks fly and it makes for some very steamy love scenes. Randi blends in humor that makes you laugh out loud. I wanted to grab both characters and shake them. This book made me cry.....I loved it! Check it out. I can't wait for Randi's next book it will be on my to be read list.

Reno is a writer who has been hurt before. Chase is a country western singer who steals her heart and makes her think about sex for the first time in a long time. He sets his cowboy hat for her and something is bound to happen. It is easy to see their attraction for one another and when they run up against obstacles, you want to scream for them to do whatever it takes to smooth the path for them to be together. The love scenes are hot, as you know they will be and you want more of them or for each one to last forever. Although Chase and Reno start out in such different places, they seem so perfect for each other, you know they must be able to see it. Yet life and all of its problems and insecurities keep getting in their way. Randi Alexander has a knack with the sensual details of a couple in love.
Hot romantic book.

Randi Alexander never disappoints with her books..this book revolves around Reno Linden and Chase Tanner... It is a story of two people who are so different in every way.... just because they come from different backgrounds they still have the same wants and needs ....The chemistry between them is hot and make you wish you were the girl Chase wants !!!. I know like me you will fall in love with Chase who is so sweet on the inside even if he is a charmer on the outside... Reno is the Sweet gal that everyone seems to love.. but watch out she is made of steel on the inside...she has been hurt and has cried off men....There are heart stopping moments and of course tender moments...really loved the flirty interchanges between them... will they get their HEA .. I will not tell detest spoilers you will have to get the book yourself

Fan-freaking-tastic read! The beginning of this story is good. Lots of sizzle and an introduction to Reno and Chase that has you rooting for them from the first. And it just gets better. This story ramps on all levels, taking sizzle to scorch, a sweet set-up to a compelling conflict, and a great distraction to an it-will-physically-hurt-me-to-put-this-book-down-so-don't-even-think-about-interrupting-me intensity. Super hot, sexy, heartrending, sweet, satisfying...and beautifully written as well. I was totally invested in these fully developed, likeable characters, the plot/conflict that kept me on the hooks… umm…and, of course, the all kinds of naughty-good-fun-and-just-a-little-kinky sex too :-)

I know a lot of readers loved this book, but it just didn't do it for me. I loved the beginning, but the rest of the book didn't follow through with the initial build up between the main characters. I didn't particularly like the sex scenes all that much but I generally enjoyed the romance. I initially liked both characters very much, but the 'hero' of the story suddenly revealed himself to be an immature male chauvinist which really ruined the story for me. It does have a happy ending, but the story in between was just not that satisfying. I'm glad that I gave it go, otherwise I would have felt as if I had missed out on an epic erotic romance. For me, it was just okay rather than fantastic. However, I am sure that other readers will love it.

Chase & Seduction, good story and characters.
The story and the flow are also good.
I love how the characters interact with each other but there are times that I want to strangle one of them… lol

The characters, Reno and Chase are easy to love.
But sometimes Reno is sometimes a bit forgiving to Chase (that I want to shake her to death).
And Chase, gah Chase! I want to kick him on the balls for acting an ass towards Reno.
But well, I still love these two.
I love their chemistry (easy to feel).

The story, good and sometimes emotional.
I love how the emotions are brought up and it’s easily felt.
As the story comes to an end, the more I liked it.
With all the revelation and stuff!!

What can I say about this book except it was awesome!!! The chemistry between Chase and Reno was sizzling. It was explosive when they finally came together just to be ripped apart by a good ole boys insecurities. Reno never gave up though and she got her happily ever after at the end when Chase finally woke up and came to his senses. I loved this book and can't wait for the next in this series. It was hot, sexy, sad, and humorous. All the ingredients that make a book catch you right from the get go and make you not want to stop reading until you reach the end!!! Outstanding job Ms. Alexander!!!!! I would totally recommend this book to anyone who will listen.

STEAMY-STEAMY-STEAMY!! Oh my this book could have easily overheated my iPad!! Was a bit surprised it didn’t! My toes were curlin’ that is for sure. It was a good book and I enjoyed the characters, it is sad that people can get so lost in their insecurities that they will throw away a really good thing. Is it has engaging characters and definitely keeps me turning the pages to find out what would happen next and when Chase would pull his head out of his, well his stupid place. Again I bought the next book in the series, got to find out what that punch was all about!! Love it when the book I read makes me want to read more!!!

I got this book as part of the Tall, Dark, and Alpha boxed set.

This one just didn’t appeal to me from the beginning. I couldn’t relate to the characters. The writing annoyed me a bit. The girl, Reno, was annoying. I don’t know. I didn’t read very far into it. Enough for them to have ‘a moment’ and then for her to flip the fuck out on him for having condoms in a drawer. She was just very annoying and I wasn’t ‘feeling’ the story anyway, so I quit before I wanted to scrape my retinas. Others might like it, it just wasn’t my cup o’ tea.

**I read this book as part of the Tall, Dark and Alpha book bundle.**

Chase is a country music superstar/actor and is used to having anything or anyone he wants. Reno is an author who loves the quiet life far from the spotlight. After having her book turned into a movie and Chase being the star, everything turns upside-down for both of them.
This was a really good book. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline very much. The story progresses at a great pace and really keeps you interested. I will definitely be reading more by this author!

Randi Alexander rewrote Chase and Seduction. It is a wonderful read about a country music artist and a up and coming writer.
It is a hot read.
Reno wrote a book and it was turned into a movie. Chase was picked to star in it. Thre is some chemistry between the two and they finally do get together.
There are ups and downs in every relationship. But there is a HEA at the end.
Another AWESOME read by Randi Alexander.

Chase & Reno are true opposites attract in this one. These two were hot together. Chase gave me moments where I just wanted to scream and smack some sense into him! I have to say this one hit a soft spot and had me almost in tears with the communication problems these two had. When a book can touch a place deep inside and make you ache with the emotions behind the characters, it's truly well written.. Randi Alexander - thank you!

Chase and Reno are the epitome of opposites attracting. There were so many things about this story that drew me in. I loved the strong, sexy Alpha Cowboy and the bbw for the heroine. I also loved that the hero suffered from even more insecurities than the heroine and that she saw thru his act. This is a beautiful story of love and I can't wait to read Tracy and Steele's book. I want to know what happens next!

I really enjoyed this book! Hot, sexy, emotionally-charged story about a singer-songwriter/actor cowboy and the woman he will do anything for. Chase Tanner won my heart from page one. The chemistry and heat that he and Reno Linden has is so hot it burned my fingers! Sexy, sexy, sexy!

If you're looking for an awesome, hot, erotic read, this is your book.

Highly recommended!

Reno, the writer, and Chase, the actor/singer, have suffered unresolved sexual tension the past months of the movie production, now it´s a wrap and Chase isn´t waiting no more. Can Reno resist the charming, hot man? Smutty fluff, angst and a Cowboy going for his HEA.
