With a modern touch, Allie Burke’s third and final novel in the Enchanters series plays off the age old question: How far is too far to protect those you love? True love can be demonstrated in a multitude of actions or a multitude of sins. You choose.
Daniel is lost without his other half, his twin sister Abby, who is pregnant, depressed, and oh so far away, struggling with her own demons. Seeking a ray of sunlight in his dark world, Daniel visits Hazel Grove and for the second time experiences the sun shining in the middle of the night. But this is a sun with a different name. A sun with blonde hair and an orange aura and with a bright light that scares the darkness right out of him. The blackness that had been his heart for the duration of his life, is…fading. Can the enchanting Claire bring passion and comfort to a man who yearns for her without even realizing it?
As the next generation of Enchanters make their choices, the outcome will change the course of their people forever. Only time, and love, will tell if they made the right choice. With a culmination and a turn of events you never saw coming, Amber Passion answers the questions you wondered about and leaves the reader forever changed and daydreaming in every shade imaginable, starting with darkness, and ending, at the end of the tunnel, with light.

Amber Passion is one of those books that you don’t want to put down and you don’t want to end. I loved Emerald Destiny and wasn’t sure what to except from the third and final book. Allie Burke blew me away with this one. It was like reading something magical. The words just flowed so perfect throughout. I am sad to see it end but wow what a great story it was.
It pretty much picks up where Emerald Destiny left off. Abby and Evan’s relationship continues to grow. We get to meet and love Claire, the girl, not the car. You need to read the first two books to understand this. Daniel really becomes his own person and starts making a life for himself. While at the same time he is still linked to his twin sister Abby. I enjoyed the new characters and at the same time reconnecting with previous and unexpected ones. Unanswered questions were answered in this one and I was surprised by some of the revelations. The near ending was unexpected and a bit shocking. The end of the book though I enjoyed getting a look at them years later.
All around a fun fantasy that I would recommend. Just so you all know that there are some adult scenes in this one also. I will be on the lookout for more stories from this author. This e-arc was provided to me for review. This did not affect my review in any way.
I am back with the third and final book in The Enchanters series Amber Passion. Book two, Emerald Destiny introduced us to the pairing of Abby and Evan, along with the kidnapping of Abby by those who do not want their union to come to fruition, but we never really learn why. In this book we eventually do learn the reason for the desire for Abby and Evan to not be together and we also meet Daniel's love interest, Claire and learn of the trials and tribulations of their budding relationship. Our original couple, Jane and Elias are a big part of book three, as is a bit more back story into Elias' twin brother's death. I quite enjoyed Amber Passion and am very happy to have gotten the chance to read all three in the series. The characters were quite well written even if a bit annoying at times. For this reader, the Enchanters are far too easily run by their emotions and connections to their soulmate/siblings. I understand wanting to portray the connection that they have for each other, but when they cannot be separated for ANY length of time before they are nearly inconsolable was a bit annoying. Yet I still enjoyed each of the characters and their quirks and the ease that they felt while being around each other. One of my quirks regarding books one and two was that the story seemed to be rushed quite a bit in spots. This was not so much a problem for me in Amber Passion I followed along quite well only once stopping to wonder about reactions to a certain happening. On a whole, I greatly enjoyed the series. I feel it is much better being read one after the other rather than spaced too far apart as you really do need to retain certain key bits of information to keep track of what is going on. The Enchanters Series is a fun series that takes you away into an urban fantasy world where love rules over everything and sometimes it can make you do the wacky.
***I was gifted this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review***
Amber Passion picks up where Emerald Destiny leaves off. Abby and Evan spent most of this book a bit far from their home of Jasmyn Lake. Daniel finds what his heart has looked for his entire life, and The tale of the Enchanters comes to an end in more ways than one.
This book had so many things in it that made me smile. It focused more on Abby and Daniel and on their link to each other, which brings for some funny and awkward moments. There's also some sorrow for a number of things. The story comes nicely to a close, and the reader will finally learn why the Brooks women all left the Reed men... that is until Abby and Evan.
There were enough minor errors in this work that I feel the author should have this one looked over. I'm not sure if she had a different editor doing this one than the other two, but there's more errors in this one than the first two.
As to the the bonus short "Ever", it really should have been attached to the end of Violet Midnight, since it fills in the blanks a bit of the two days when Elias and Christian watched over Jane while she recovered.
This series has claimed a piece of my heart as all those favored stories that will eventually get read again.
Allie Burke is a queen when it comes to character development, and Amber Passion proves this once again. Though the setting doesn't change a great deal throughout, the depth of Amber Passion's story keeps the reader's interest piqued. More love stories arise, current relationships grow stronger, and the past and present find their connection. Readers meet the bright and adorable Enchanter, Claire. An interesting Enchanter discovery pops up while Elias and Jane focus on their lost loved ones, Liam and Christian. And the power of love puts The Enchanters in a sticky situation.
What will become of The Enchanters in the final book? You'll have to read Amber Passion to find out. Though I wish I could read more of The Enchanters because I adore the characters so much, Allie's final book does the series justice. It's a great wrap up!
Elemental magic, romance, and adventure. Allie Burke is one of those authors who weaves words in such a way that they will suck you in and leave you wanting more. Her Enchanter Series takes you to a place where reality and fantasy exist together perfectly. Amber Passion is the third book in this series and I am truly hoping Miss Burke will write more stories set in this world.
I received this book from the author, Allie Burke, and from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. Amber Passion is the third book in Enchanters Series. This is a story for those readers who like paranormal and books about witches and enchanters. In this book witches are thought to have evil magic powers while enchanters are men and women who can control and manipulate elements, such as fire, water, wind and earth. Make sure you read Violet Midnight and Emerald Destiny before this story. Don’t read too many reviews before either or you might get spoilers. This story is continues Jane and Elias and their family’s story. This continues to tell the stories of their children and how the different families who are enchanters from the different elements interact.
This book was great. The characters are very approachable and draw the reader in. The story continues to keep having new twists on paranormal ideas which I cannot go into detail without spoilers so read it for yourself. I really wanted to make sure I know how everything was going to go for all the characters. This is a book I would read again!
Wow. I did not see that ending coming. Many books you can kind of anticipate where they may end. Not this one! To the final pages, she was surprising me and had twists and turns that were so creative. I loved the sweet and sunny Claire and the fact that she played such a big role in book 3. I didn't expect to adore her so much. And Daniel came into his own. So fun to watch him find a woman who appreciated him exactly as he was. Refreshing. And of course the visits from all the other people expected and unexpected made for a book that was hard to put down. I think it was the best of The Enchanters yet. My only complaint is it is over!
Throughout this series, I have absolutely adored Allie Burke's writing, this story, the characters, and just the overall experience of reading these books. However, with this last one, I must admit that I was a bit disappointed.
Amber Passion focuses on two different couples throughout its pages. We have Daniel and Claire, who have a wondrous connection in spite of their stark power differences; Jane and Elias, who are both still reeling from the events resulting in a character's death who was really close to Jane; and Abby and Evan, who go on a trip that will forever change Abby and which will introduce her to the uncle she never knew. While all of their separate experiences are very important to the story, I felt that because they were all put into one book, they were all missing that special quality that I have seen in the other two books in this series. There were moments where that quality did indeed show itself, but they were fleeting and too few and far between. I just didn't feel as connected as I wholeheartedly wanted to be, and I think that is my biggest sadness with this final book.
I believe that maybe this book could have actually been broken up into three. With Abby and Evan's portion being a short novella focusing on their trip, to be placed between books 2 and 3, of course; Daniel and Claire's portion being book 3, focusing on both points of view as was done with the first two books; and book 4 being the ending and the story of the first relationship between a Brooks woman and a Clarke man and why it ended so abruptly, tying the rushed ending from this book up neatly and completing the series perfectly.
My mixed feelings toward this book are never going to deter me from reading any more of Allie Burke's work, because her writing makes me feel indescribable when I read it, like I could hold all the magic in the world in the palm of my hand.
I do recommend reading the second book in this series before beginning this third one, if only to gain a bit of insight into the characters. While I cannot announce from the rooftops my infinite love for this book, my adoration for its characters makes me want you, fellow reader, to try it. Pick it up, give it a chance, and make your own perceptions.
