Just read the beginning about Isis and skipped the rest.

I used to watch the TV Series about her so was looking forward to the book. I did not know only a small portion was about the super hero..Heroine. The show was always such an adventure so the book was a let down although I sure enjoyed the beginning greatly.

The title of this book is deceiving. This book starts out with an origin story about the character Isis then at about the halfway point it forgets about her. It turns into a story about the superhero 10 Muse and a parody of other superheroes. The current 10 Muse dies at the end with no fan fare or much impact. The art is good with a story that starts out good and quickly goes downhill.

Loved the beginning, then was deeply disappointed by the end. I wanted more about Isis and her situation, and not just have it turn into a battle with a random evil.
