Wow picked this up cuz I thought it was going to be hilariously weird but it's a beautiful short story collection of centaur stories. Beautiful art too!

Zbiór kilku opowiadań z centaurami. Oczywiście ludzie zafascynowani, szczególnie możliwościami nawiązania fizycznego kontaktu. Ani to odkrywcze, ani ciekawe. No, może jeden one shot był interesujący, reszta to takie ... hm... jakby autorowi brakło hajsu i na siłę wymyślał, byle się sprzedało.

在3.5和4星之间纠结了一下。虽然是摸鱼本（是吗？）但画还是看起来很舒服，粗糙的简洁也变得顺眼起来。这位老师真的很厉害，在最短的篇幅制造出最有意思的梗。

A compilation of short stories about the relationships between human and centaurs. The art is breathtaking and the stories left me speechless! I’m amazed by Est Em sensei’s ability to concentrate so much emotions into so few pages!
Est Em sensei’s pen sketch drawing style perfectly illustrates centaur’s power and speed. She wrote that she frequently visited racing courses in her childhood, so she’s very familiar with horses.
1) Dun Black
A bunch of university friends went on a overnight camping trip in the mountains, the centaur ran there when the 5 guys drove in a little car. After BBQ dinner at night, the boy and centaur sit together to stargaze. The boy asks how long can the centaur live, but only got a vague answer of very very long time. Some of the centaurs cannot stand sadness of human death so they don’t come close to human, the others would purposely try to forget, but he cherishes every moment in his precious memory. So the boy kisses the centaur and tells him to remember it, he also decided to get motorbike license so the two of them can roam together in the future…
2) Chestnut
The centaur and boy were childhood friends and the boy always struggled to chase after the centaur and get dissed. The centaur promised to let the boy ride on his back once he grow up. The centaur returns when they are both teenagers, he gives the boy a helmet and let him hug tight when riding…
3) Black and White
A man got lost in the forest while riding his horse, the sun is setting and the horse suddenly ran off. The man spotted two male centaurs making out and couldn’t take his eyes off them. They invited him to join in for a threesome… Until his horse came back to pick him up…
4) Leopard
The long haired centaur is a shepherd who recently adopted a little boy, an old friend military centaur came to visit on a rainy day… War is coming and the centaurs are reserves, because the new weapons is forcing them to change the battle… The two used to fight together and made promises long ago that they will die together… The little boy doesn’t want the long haired centaur to go so he promised to live, the boy was left behind to take care of the sheeps… Years later, both centaurs finally returned when the boy is a young man.
5) Gray
The centaur is the old emperor’s right hand man and taught the prince archery. Many years ago, the old emperor went to war with his army, and left the son behind to protect the mother and younger sister… They lost the war and the centaur came back with the dad’s bow as souvenir…
The new emperor and the centaur fought in countless battles ever since, one night when he was drinking with the centaur, he said 月が綺麗ですね (the moon is beautiful)… He’s not afraid to die on the battlefield as it’s an honor for warrior, however he would regret not being able to grow old with the centaur until his hair turn white…
In this last battle, the emperor only has an army of 500 while the enemy is 3000… At the end there’s only 15 soldiers/horses left, he asks the centaur to stay behind and protect his mom and wife who is already pregnant. The centaur insisted to live and die together with the emperor…
Eventually they grew old together and perform archery in front of tourists…
6) Bay Silver 1/2/3
This centaur was just a play toy for the rich dad, who would torture and humiliate the centaur in front of his rich friends on weekends…
One day the dad died and the man took ownership of the centaur, he was mad that centaur didn’t escape when he left the gates open every night… But the centaur knew that his dad will die soon and he wanted to be with the man…
Its forbidden for human and centaur to be in a relationship, the centaur’s previous human lover got decaptitated but the superstitious people didn’t dare to kill him, so he was left alone in the world… There are two ways for a centaurs to die, one is to be killed, and other is to be heart broken… The centaur is staying in this household because he’s waiting to be killed by the man eventually…
The man saw centaur roaming freely when he was just a kid and was amazed by the beauty. Although the man is captivated by the centaur and got into a relationship, he decided to set him free because he knows he cannot kill the centaur…
The centaur came back to the son’s death bed and was given the task to take of his son, teach him to read and write, and explore the nature… In exchange the centaur received a name from the man…

A collection of centaur-themed stories, both happy and sad. Really well done, and the book itself is so very gorgeous. Not just the art and the stories itself, the cover and the entire book design is beautiful.
