Lisa Loeb (1989) is bekend als cabaretière, presentatrice en winnaar van De slimste mens. Eerder schreef ze het succesvolle boek BANG. Ze is vaste columnist voor De Nieuws BV op Radio 1 en Marie Claire. Als cabaretière stond ze in zo'n beetje elk theater van Nederland en werd ze drie keer genomineerd voor de Annie M.G. Schmidtprijs voor het beste theaterlied. Samen met haar man Daniel Paarlberg maakt ze de podcast De Complottenpiramide bij Podimo.

There's something about the off-kilter stanza of this that appeals to me.I find myself falling into a sing songy pattern when I read it to my daughter. Not sure what the CD offers as I picked this up second hand but even without it we like reading this book together at night and then we sing our own song.

One of those books with a CD packaged inside. The story needs a bit of workshopping; the rhymes are bit too obvious (night/light) and the meter is often not quite right.
