Fourteen-year-old Daisy Howson is a take-charge kind of girl, maybe even something of a control freak. She means well--she just wants everything to run smoothly, especially on her relay team. But when someone tries to sabotage the boys' relay team, Daisy suspects her own team may be involved. Can she sort it all out and fix everything up again before the city championship meet?

The title of this book is "Just Run" by Deb Loughead. This book is realistic fiction and takes place in a present-day setting. In this book, the main character Daisy faces several problems throughout a season of her life. As she goes through home life issues and endures drama at school, she tries to do everything that she can to keep everything cool. After being the peacemaker at school and running the house at home, it really starts to get her. But then she remembers why she is on the school track team, because she loves to run. When she learns to just run and let things go, she learns that she doesn't need to control everything, and that life will play itself out. This book is written in first person of the main character Daisy. We know all her thoughts and feelings. Because it is written in first person, and we know all her thoughts and feelings, it really helps us get to know and care for her as she endures problems and goes through things. I liked this book because it was very relatable. It is very relatable because it is about kids my age. It's also relatable because I also do track and that is what the book is mainly about. There's nothing about this book that I don't really like. Overall, it was a quick and easy read, and I was happy with it. I will probably remember this book for a while because it is the first book, I finished this year. This was a good book that I really enjoyed.

This book was okay. I'm not a big sports person, but as far as sports ago, it was good. There was definitely some important lessons the author brought and I did enjoy the writing style. However, I found a couple of the character extremely obnoxious and silly.

I read the book Just Run. This book was surprisingly good. There is a girl named Daisy and she has friends named Ella, Mary, and Samantha. Well throughout the story Daisy had a lot of trust issues with Ella and Samantha because they were both telling her different things about each other. But towards the end of the book she finds out how was telling the truth. Daisy has a brother and he likes to have dinner ready when he gets home but their mom works late and their dad doesn’t come out of the basement. Daisy is put through rough times with family and trust issues. Daisy likes this boy named Finn and he thinks she taped his locker to get him kick off the team but it really was Ella or Samantha. Read the book to find out which one taped his locker.

I think this book is amazing. SO I went to the library with my friend and we looked for books and once I seen the book grabbed it. Last summer I use to go to van horn park with Araceliss, signed up to run on the path in the park. I love running because knowing how many miles I ran makes me proud. Like when I went by my self the first time I did pretty awesome. But then it sucked when I started going with Araceliss because she ran more faster thaan me so she won, but she use to wit for me. Well I like how things are put in this book about Ella. It says 'She can run fast, but she can't run everything.

Is a very good book. It is a book about a girl that wants her relay team in track to run very smooth. The main idea of the book is about Daisy wanting to figure out who wants to destroy the boys relay team. So her main goal in the book is to figure out who it is and get the team ready for one of the biggest meets in the book.

Great book if you're in the beginning of the teenage years and Into Girly books. It does teach a lot of valuable lessons and is an overall alright book with sweet quirky characters. Not really my cup of tea though since it is a bit too girly for my taste.
