I loved looking at all the beautiful Charleston homes and learning some interesting little stories about the homes and those who lived in them. It mixed a little bit of slave history into the stories as well. I picked this book up after a recent trip to Charleston, but I wish I would have read it before going so I could have looked for some of these homes when I was there. It amazes me how old these homes are! If only walls could talk!
