A great book, and a great hiking tour that makes me want to follow in his foot steps. The story is told with humor and details, and is informative in so many ways. You can really feel the bond that both animals and people have with nature. And it is great - in this time of hysteria around climate change and pollution - to read about things that are really going well, including the reintroduction of predators and large game in Germany. Recommended.
