If you're like me, and have already read the original e-myth, you may be thinking "Great! This book will provide specific actions I can take to implement the e-myth philosophy into my advisory business!"

You will leave the book disappointed.

Essentially, the book is a regurgitation of the original book, with a focus on situations and struggles more common to an advisory business. Often it feels like the original wording from "The E-myth" was changed from "business" to "financial advisory business." You, review reader, were intelligent enough to apply the various scenarios in the original book to your business. You've already filled in the blanks that this book provides.

I'll give an example of an unhelpful section:
"Here are some tips for organizing your financial advisory practice:
- Identify the key functions of your practice
- Identify the essential processes that link those functions"
etc

Was it crazy of me to expect the authors to make the leap to actually TELL me what the key functions of a practice are? To identify the the essential processes that link those functions? Yes, some practices differ, but it's all one industry - take a stab, authors!

You're smart. You liked the original book. Now you're reading reviews to see if it's worth your time and money. Be smart enough to pass.

Thank God for this book.

i loved it. i am so glad this book exists and I'm so glad i had the wherewithal to get it and read it. I gotta say... This one will make me millions. It will free me as a business owner and financial advisor.

Already I have implemented some of the ideas. It has brought me great clarity to read this and begin to crystallize my vision for my practice.

This book will help you go from frustration to feverish success... it will also help you move from the S category to the B category in the ESBI Rich Dad Ethos. (In a big big way).

The E-myth is a must read for anyone planning on starting a business. Don't make the mistake of thinking that your problems will end when you go to work for yourself. Read this book so you can increase your chances of success and live to start many more businesses.
