Finding Her Home

Rate this book
HOME IS. . .

Returning to Segundo, Colorado, was the last thing Tori Sandoval planned to do. She'd overcome the odds facing a girl from the small coal-mining town to become a big-city high school principal. But now her grandparents need her help. Still, she can't understand why widower Steve Remington would willingly move to the sticks with his children.

WHERE THE HEART IS

Steve never expected that doing a favor for his elderly neighbors would introduce him to a woman as attractive as Tori. And, an even bigger surprise, she turns up again as his new boss! Working together brings them almost too close--but perhaps God intends to teach Tori the meaning of home.

Needed a mindless read for a plane ride home, so I grabbed this from my mom's shelf. Pretty bland, even for a Christian romance. As an teacher, I found the education references throughout the book interesting, but not very plausible, from what I have experienced. Not my best choice of reading material.

The first part of the book was good, then I started to see religion creeping in. By the end her faith was shoved in your face. The religious influence ruined it for me because I do not agree with her beliefs. It was a good storyline, but a warning would have been nice regarding the heavy religious content.

A nice little romance book with the theme of education being very important to all children. Love a happy ending!

Christian romance. Not terribly realistic view of schools, but who cares?

Can Steve and Tori get together? The one thing getting in their way is the fact that Tori is now Steve's boss at the local school. A good, easy romance.

I was a little disappointed in this story. For an inspirational romance it did nothing for me.
