The handbag carries a lot more than just lipstick and car keys; it packs more psychological and historical importance than I ever would have dreamed. Too bad it's just not that interesting to read about. Beautifully illustrated but it took me forever to finish because I guess I'm just not that interested in purses -- no matter how many I buy...
