This book, rich with illustration samples, is an enjoyable and informative guide for self-taught freelance illustrators to understand the mechanics behind commissioned work, by approaching your work through a specific problem-solving process. The book serves as an instructional blueprint for illustration and the set of skills required of illustrators in order to provide artistically clear comprehensible work that serves the main purpose of illustration; communication.

The book is a visually appealing arrangement of words and images that keep the eyes and mind keenly engaged and animated throughout its pages. Which adds a lot of points to the book's authenticity.
