About the author

Christine Lindop was born in New Zealand where she began her teaching career. She later taught EFL in France and Spain before settling in Great Britain, and has worked as an editor, proofreader, and writer since 1993.

With Oxford University Press, Christine has worked extensively on the Oxford Bookworms Library and is the Series Editor for Oxford Bookworms Factfiles. Her original titles include Sally's Phone and Red Roses (Starters), Ned Kelly: A True Story (Stage 1), and Australia and New Zealand (Stage 3). She has also adapted Goldfish (Stage 3) and two volumes of World Stories, The Long White Cloud: Stories from New Zealand (Stage 3) and Doors to a Wider Place: Stories from Australia (Stage 4), and edited A Tangled Web for the Oxford Bookworms Collection.

She has worked on many other Oxford readers series as both an editor and a writer.

هو نفس الكاتب الذي كتب Sally's phone وهو نفسه الذي كتب rose red لذلك القصة مثل كلاهما لكن هنا البطل مارك الذي يعمل في مركز تسوق كضابط أمن ويعجب بفتاة شعرها أحمر تأتي لتسوق كل أربعاء و يحبط عندما يرى معها طفل ويحبط أكثر عندما يرى معها رجلا ،ولكن صديقاه شامي وليون عزاءه وأخبره ليون أن يأتي معه إلى مرقص وتكون المفأجاة،أن نفس الفتاة التي أراد التعرف عليها ليست متزوجة وقد أتت إلى نفس النادي وتعرف عليها وعرف بأن طفل ليس طفلها وكذلك الرجل الذي أتى هو زوج أختها
نوعا ما أسلوب الكاتب كريستي يشدني أتمنى أن أقرأ له مُجددا في قصة أخرى سواء في مجموعة قصص أكسفورد أو قصة أخرى

كتاب صغير جداً يتكون من 28 صفحة ولكنه يتخلل العديد من الصور والرسومات التوضيحية. الكتاب يهدف لتعليم اللغة الانجليزية للمبتدئين ولكن بطريقة جميلة ومشوقة، برغم قصرها.

I just finished reading a short story called‌
“The Girl with Red Hair.”
It’s the same old story about love at first sight (just kidding), and about thoughts and choices based only on what’s in our minds. The book is for starter level with 250 words. It was simple and fun to read!‌
‌
For me, reading this book was easy and it gave me motivation to try other books from this series with a higher level.
I practice my English every day and get better little by little.
Reading helps me learn new words and speak better.

يأتي الناس كل يوم إلى متجر ميزون، كبار وشباب رجال ونساء، ومن مكتب المراقبة في المتجر يراقبهم رجل الامن "مارك" وعندما يغادرون المتجر ينساهم، ثم في احد الايام تأتي فتاة ذات شعر احمر الى المتجر وكل شيء يتغير بعد ذلك بالنسبة لمارك، لا يستطيع ان ينسى ذلك الوجه الجميل وتلك العيون الخضراء والشعر الاحمر، ومن ثم تبدأ رحلة البحث والمغامرة الرومانسية!

I like the book. It was an easy read. A cute innocent love story. Love at the first sight for the boy, but how about the girl? Does she feel the same way?
