Este texto para aprender alemán consta de 15 cuentos y un poema. Los que más me gustaron fueron "Verlieren" (perder algo), "Entscheidung am Strand" (decisión en la playa), "Welche Tage ist heute? (¿qué día es hoy?), "Der Gast"(el invitado o el huésped) y "Die Blaumacherin" (la que se fue de pinta o hizo novillos). Todos los cuentos están narrados en primera persona y, como suele suceder en los cuentos, los personajes están apenas delineados.
En "Verlieren" el protagonista recibió un libro como regalo, cuyo titulo y autor apenas mira. Lo empieza a leer en su cama por la noche y lo deja en la mesita lateral. A la noche siguiente quiere seguir leyéndolo, pero ha desaparecido. A partir de ese momento, se desencadena una búsqueda implacable.
"Entscheidung am Strand" trata de una persona que invita a un viaje corto a dos parejas disparejas: una española, displicente, carnívora y desordenada, la otra, alemana, vegetariana y ordenada al extremo y de los problemas que se presentan.
En"Wie Tage ist heute?" una mujer joven que trabaja en casa (home office) y a la par hace sus tareas caseras. Es por esto que no conoce a sus vecinos.
En "Der Gast" una pareja se va de vacaciones y encarga a su vecino que cuide de sus plantas. El departamento es tan grande y con muchas sombras por la gran cantidad de objetos que lo adornan, que el protagonista tiene miedo de entrar por segunda vez, hasta que las luces de departamento se encienden y aparece el supuesto invitado.
Todos son difíciles de leer para una novata, aunque creo que es un texto para grado intermedio.

An endearing collection of fifteen short stories on varying themes, the afterword presented as a poem. The book was accompanied with an audio CD containing nine of the stories, and the poem as well. A number of narrators have contributed to the reading, along with writer Leonhard Thoma himself. The narrations are a treat, if you hear them along as you read.

Taková knížečka do němčiny… tím, že nikdy nečtu anotace, tak jsem pořádně nevěděla o čem to bude. Hned po druhé kapitole mi knížka nedávala smysl… protože to bylo tak, že každá kapitola je nový příběh, takže povídky🤦‍♀️. Ale i tak, byly tam tak max. 2, které se mi líbily, zbytek jsem musela protrpět🤣. Po jazykové stránce jsem rozuměla většině. Bylo zde ale i pár slovíček, které jsem neznala.

I liked the format of short stories, the vocabulary is ready but the story has some ground so you feel engaged, easy words but not easy brain - dead stories. And it helped me to remember lot of past tense verbs. My first German book that doesn't make me feel like I reading a kinder buch 😉
