Sachin Tendulkar Masterful :(Hardcover) by Peter Murry and Ashish Shukla is a coffee table book on the various aspects of life of Sachin Tendulkar. Peter Murray is an Indian - son of an army officer shifted to Australia. He is a journalist and has written books on cricket and car racing. He has brought colored photography to sport journals has popularized them. Ashish Shukla is a journalist who has travelled and covered Indian cricket round the world. What is charming about this book is that alongwith Sachin the book covers Making of Sachin- how he has developed himself as an ideal role model by keeping silent, concentrating on the cricket, reaming away from controversy, giving his best for cricket in each innings for the country. Those who have been part of his life- his parents, his brothers, his family members, his coach, in-laws, local Bombay friends, Mask Mascarenhas of World Tel. It relates his sincerely towards the Brands he has endorsed- Britannica, Home trade, Boost, MRF, Adidas, Visa, Pepsi, fiat Palio, Philips, Colgate, etc. Comments of fellow cricketers about Sachin is happy to read. It is a worth buying book.
