This short booklet presents a biblical approach to grief. There are four main examples given - loss of a spouse (Abraham), loss of a parent (Joseph), loss of a child (David), and loss of a sibling (Martha and Mary). Eyrich does a good job of interacting with the over-used and mis-used "stages of grief" from Kubler-Ross, and instead presents a biblical model of disorganization, acceptance, and reorganization. Helpful, and a resource we will give to grieving people in our church.
