Lexxie’s not a deviant. She just has a deviant’s imagination and a desire to entertain readers with her words. Add the two together and you get darkly erotic romances with a twist of horror, sci-fi and the paranormal.

When she’s not submerged in the worlds she creates, Lexxie’s life revolves around her family, a husband who thinks she’s insane, a indoor cat who likes to stalk shadows, two yabbies hell-bent on destroying their tank and her daughters, who both utterly captured her heart and changed her life forever.

Having no idea how old she really is, Lexxie decided to go with 27 and has been that age for quite some time now. It's the best of both worlds - old enough to act mature, young enough to be silly.

And silly she can be. Just ask her husband who frequently has to endure her bursting into song whenever the mood strikes her, feeling him up in public (one of her favorite pastimes), or rolling around in the sand with their dog - a large mutt of dubious origins who causes almost as much havoc around the neighborhood as Lexxie herself. Or squealing her way down the slide at the local park with her daughter!

Lexxie lives by two simple rules - measure your success not by how much money you have, but by how often you laugh, and always try everything at least once. As a consequence, she's laughed her way through many an eyebrow raising adventure.

Blowing it Off is book one in the Stimulated series by Lexxie Couper. This is my very first book by Lexxie and I loved it!

Phoebe Masters had been friends with Damon Hunt and William Bradley, two fire investigators, forever. They laughed together, played together, and even flirted. But never crossed the line. Until that one weekend. They all experienced the weekend of a lifetime, the sex beyond anything they could have ever imagined, enhanced by the close relationship they all shared. But when Phoebe suggested that she felt more, that she wanted things to extend beyond the bedroom, they blew her off. With a broken heart, she left.

glass blower:

Phoebe is an artist, a professional glass blower. She took molten glass and created beautiful artworks. She opened a studio in Morpeth, Australia and six months have passed. Her heart is just beginning to mend. And then, the unimaginable happened, her studio burned down. She knew Damon and William would be called in to investigate. She doesn’t want to see them again. Her heart can’t take it. She’ll keep it all business. They will do their investigation and then leave, right?

FIRE INVESTIGATOR:

“Six months ago he’d lived this very fantasy. This time, he was going to make sure it stayed their reality.”

Damon and William regretted ever letting Phoebe go. She was it for them. But they knew they hurt her. They had to convince her to take them back. That they all three belonged together.

It didn’t take long for these three to give in to the strong sexual attraction between them. But Phoebe is convinced that this could be their good-bye. That afterwards, she will send them away. What she didn’t realize was that Damon and Will weren’t going to accept anything from her but a yes. They would not give up.

Two men one woman:

This was a short, fun, oh so hot book. I loved it. I found the characters to be so easy to love and oh the stamina these three have! They never seemed to wear out! Throw in a little bit of suspense and you’ve got a winner. I can’t wait to continue with this series with book two, Revving It Up, which focuses on Phoebe’s best friend, Sami.

A hot read!

Lexxie really brings the heat in this short book about two men who missed their chance at happiness! Phoebe thought that she was over Will and Damon, but she was wrong! When they come back to investigate a fire in her studio, everything goes up in flames, including Phoebe's excuses for them not being together.

This wasn't a deep emotional, or mysterious story. This was intense sex scenes with some background around it. I'm not complaining, it's exactly what I was wanting, but I felt something a bit lacking in the romantic side (I prefer to feel the love) which is why I didn't give it 5 stars! But I am looking forward to reading more from her!

"Blowing It Off" Stimulated Book One by Lexxie Couper was my first book by this author. It was a good storyline, a quick, no angst read with a bit of suspense. However it fell just a bit flat for me. I just felt that our heroes could have groveled more for forgiveness of their mistakes. And our heroine forgave and forgot too quickly. But of course that's just my opinion of what I prefer in my favorite novels/novellas. I like to see my heroes work for it!

This is a menage MFM featuring Phoebe, Will and Damon. These three have been friends for a long time however one weekend they take their relationship to an intimate level. Phoebe is thrilled and she admits that she has feelings for them both that are more than friendship. Phoebe wants to see where things go. She is not ashamed of being publicly involved in a polyamorous relationship.

However.....

Will and Damon panic and let Phoebe think their one weekend together was just for fun and it didn't mean anything to them.

Liars! Cowards! She was devastated! :(

Brokenhearted, Phoebe moves away to another town. When her glass blowing shop catches fire and is destroyed, the fire investigators are called in. Did I mention that Will and Damon just so happen to be fire investigators?

Will and Damon know they were the biggest idiots to let Phoebe leave thinking they didn't care for her. But now that they have the opportunity to see her again after so many months, they have to convince her they want more than a relationship with her. They want forever!

Blowing it Off

This is one of those books that you read when you're looking for a quick burst of stream. Although there is a bit of story to connect the characters, it is superficial. You'll know who the bad guy is right away so the bit of suspense, which could have enhanced the story, did little to do so. The passion between the characters is strong, but I didn't feel much of an emotional connection from them. I like to feel some minor dose of connection between the characters in my romance. The story is not bad and does not lack for sizzle; however, it would have been more enjoyable for me had the story been stronger.

There's always something about glass blowing that interests me, so when I figured out that the artist in this story was a glass blower, I was eager to read it. This was my first introduction to the author, and while this wasn't a bad book, it also wasn't a memorable one either. It was mostly about the Menagé and the suspense plot felt very thrown in, especially with it being so easily solved! The characters were ok, but nothing really special, especially since Phoebe didn't go into much detail with her glass blowing art. All in all, a quick, somewhat steamy read, but not really worth continuing the series with.

What a very sexy short story this was! Lexxie is the queen of sexual tension, and boy did these three have that in spades! You could definitely feel the heat coming off the pages with this one guys. Although I loved this one, I couldn't help but want Will and Damon to get a little bit of action going on between them as well. *winks* I think that Phoebe was definitely one very lucky girl. If you are in the mood for a steamy short read, then I'm going to definitely highly suggest this one.

Lots of hot sex but lacking in story, I do realize this is a shorter book and the story needs to be worked out within the page limit but I would have liked to know the back story of these three; maybe a prologue of 5-10 pages just to set up how it was when they were together previously.
I wish I could give it another star but it just felt to rushed for me, that being said it was still an enjoyable read.

Can you stand the heat??

This book was short but really well written, I read the blurb whilst looking for another book on Amazon and had me hooked, line and sinker!
I read it in one go and did not disappoint.

The characters are well described and the chemistry is off the charts they certainly burnt with passion.
Sometimes less is more and certainly this is the case here. Read it, you won't be disappointed.

Let me just pretense this review by saying that I FLOVE Lexxie's work. I gravitate to it when I need an escape and there is NO ONE in modern day fiction who does menage better than her. With that said, this first offering in this series proved you can write well, but if you don't well round your characters, chaos will ensue for the reader as they toss their reader across the room. I'm happy to report my tablet is fine. Her heroine Phoebe Masters needs a freaking backbone and to stick by her convictions. She drove me nuts to the point I was actually yelling at her at times. Oh stop, you all yell at the TV don't you? Oh, and for the two heroes in the story, Will and Damon? I wanted to beat those two wankers (an expression I've adopted) within an inch of their lives. They were too demanding, domineering and damn it if they never listened to her once. They negated her feelings and figured their prowess in the bedroom will make one forget everything. Not so much guys. Take turns at kicking your butts for me please. One star was knocked off for the characters having little to no chemistry and another for lack of condom usage. As a romance writer myself, I know their are a pain to incorporate, but it's important. These three have been away from each other for six months and they are just going to automatically trust each other and pick up where they left off? Tsk, tsk, tsk. I can't abandon my principles simply because of my adoration for this author. I have read the entire series at the time I write this review and I'm happy to report, it gets better.

Bit of a let down. It had so much potential too. But the actual plot seemed like it was more of a backstory to the sex scenes. Kind of like the author wrote the scenes and then said "oh, I guess I should put this in some sort of story..."
I mean, don't get me wrong, the scenes were hot. But still...
Disappointed with the heroine of the story. She could have made them work for it a bit more. Lol!
The heroes... Perfect!

I found this book to be okay. I could feel the connection between the 3 main characters, however I feel like when it came time to start wrapping the book up it was rushed. I would have liked to hear a little more about their story instead it just ended.

Shaping

This is a very hot book on many levels. The investigation will take them just where they need to be while they figure out the facts together. The only complaint I have is it could use one more round of editing to fix grammatical errors.

I really enjoyed this short story. The “mystery” was secondary to the heated passion between the main characters Phoebe, Will and Duncan. It was steamy but also sweet. I wished for it to be longer, unfortunately it ends at 69%.

Okay

I like this author, but I felt this was not her best story. There could have been better character building. Phoebe was such a wimp. Damon and Will were okay. I knew who the arsonist was when I first met him. Again, that plot could have been built on better. As for the sex, it was basically the same each time, so it got a little boring.

Phoebe Masters was friends with hot shot arson investigators, Will Bradley and Damon Hunt for a few years until one weekend changed their easy going relationship. She gave herself over to them, only to have them reject her when she hinted at wanting more. Broken-hearted, she moved to a smaller town and opened up her glass-blowing art studio, vowing to never think of or see them ever again. When her studio burns down, that means only one thing – Will and Damon will be paying her a visit.

Will and Damon have been working together for the past eight years. They're best friends and share everything. The weekend they shared Phoebe brought out feelings that left them both scared, so they blew her off. Six months later, they haven't moved on either, and they realize now that what they really want is her, forever. But how to get back in her good graces and in her bed?

Two firefighters, a woman, what wouldn't be hot about that? Granted, the love scenes nearly melted the contacts in my eyes, but this was definitely more porn than plot. While they're trying to solve the mystery of her burned down studio, their more pressing concern is trying to make Phoebe forgive their idiocy for pushing her away and breaking her heart. They're successful because no matter how much she tries to deny it, she still wants them. The "whodunit" wasn't even a real mystery, since it was pretty obvious from the get go. The mystery was solved a bit too quickly, but then again the story is around 90 pages so there's not much room to fill between all the sexing. If you're looking for a fun, flirty and hot read to turn up the temperature in under 90 seconds, then this a story for you. I rather enjoyed it.

Phoebe Masters is a glassblower whose studio is gutted by a suspicious fire. She has a past romantic history with arson investigators Will Bradley and Damon Hunt who she meets up with again when they’re assigned to the case.

I really enjoyed the setting of this story… a glassblowing studio in Australia. The author did a great job describing it and the effects of the fire on Phoebe’s studio. I always enjoy a story with characters who have a past and the author filled us in on Phoebe’s relationship with Will and Damon long before we got to know them in this story. They’d had a brief fling and a ménage and the tension mounts because we know the three of them will be together once again, we just don't know when.

I liked the unique career for this character and I think it really matched her personality. She seemed to want independence and to forget about Will and Damon but who could say no to these two gorgeous men? They come across as not only wanting her for the physical part of a relationship but emotional too.

The sex is frequent and very hot which seemed fitting considering the careers of all three characters. Will she give them what they want? Hopefully!

There’s added mystery, too, regarding how the fire got started and who the culprit is which is great. The dialogue is sharp and pacing fast so it’s a speedy read. I liked the ending. I won’t give it away but let’s just say you won’t be disappointed for any of these characters.

If you’re looking to round out the summer with a hot ménage story definitely give this one a try.

If your looking for an amazing HOT read then this is the book for you. The sex scenes are enough to turn anyone on.
Normally when it comes to shorter books I’m not a big fan, but this author is amazing. This book had incredible flow and all of the characters were amazing.
Phoebe, William, and Damon are all strong characters. They were friends and had one weekend of great sex. When Phoebe talked about having a forever with them they laughed. Once she moved to continue to make her art they realized their mistake. They end up seeing each other again because of her studio catches on fire.
The way the three interact together, in the bed and out of the bed, was great. William and Damon were best friends and you could tell in the writing. Phoebe wanted them and yes she fought with herself on it. However she never hated herself or blamed herself or others for it. I loved the strength that they all had and the humor they used with each other.
What made this book so great was how the author told the story. Instead of the three just meeting and having the book be an instalove, they were already friends. Throughout the book the author would give little flashbacks of what the relationship was like for them. I loved that it was incorporated into the book and not just the first chapter or two. She wrote it into the novel and made it smoothly.
I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It was AMAZING.

H.O.T. and not just because there was an actual fire that starts the whole thing off, this read will have you taking a cold shower and liking it!

Phoebe left Newcastle to start over. Leaving behind a weekend she will never forget with two guys that clearly moved into her heart. When a fire destroys her glassblowing studio Phoebe isn’t happy about the fact she is going to have to see those two men again. Hoping they will come in do their job, leave a report and be on their way, is about all she can do.

William and Damon have tried to move on from that weekend 6 months ago, without much success. When the call comes in that they have to investigate a fire in a studio of a certain glassblower, they decide it is now or never to win her back. Armed with the knowledge they aren’t going to let her say No, they put their plan into motion. However, on scene it becomes clear the fire was set on purpose. Now the plan has changed. Still they must convince her to give them another try, while at the same time protecting her from whoever meant to do her harm.

Can they convince Phoebe that loving them both is the right thing for all of them? Time will tell, and that’s something they are limited on.

Excellent short story. M/F/M menage where the guys aren't afraid of getting close to each other. Phoebe got burned 6 months ago when she had a wild weekend with her two best guy friends, Damon and Will. After the weekend, they wanted to carry on as friends and she wanted forever. Reeling from their rejection, she moves to a new town and tries to forget about them.

She is a glass artist, and when her studio suspiciously burns down, enter Will and Damon, who happen to be talented arson investigators as well as being dynamite in the sack! In the past six months, they've regretted how they dissed Phoebe and are determined to win her back. Phoebe puts up a token protest but really, who could resist two hot 6 foot plus firefighters?!
