For Cayl, coming to Earth and taking on a masculine Earthly form is less than convenient. These human senses are distracting and clearly the reason humankind hasn’t progressed. For Devin, escorting Cayl through his first day on Earth is just part of the job…until she discovers the bad guy they’re chasing is hiding out in a notorious sex club. Enter Mace. He’s willing to help out and allow them access to the club. After all, Devin and Cayl are two of the sexiest people he’s met, even if Cayl does sound like a Sci-Fi convention reject. Mace is more than willing to play along with Cayl’s “innocent” act, even though he wants to devour them both. But there’s a dangerous alien on the loose and Cayl’s rethinking his opinion on human senses. Suddenly he finds it quite intriguing to see, taste…and touch.
Tielle (pronounced "teal") St. Clare has had life-long love of romance novels. She began reading romances in the 7th grade when she discovered Victoria Holt novels and began writing romances at the age of 16 (during Trigonometry, if the truth be told). During her senior year in high school, the class dressed up as what they would be in twenty years-Tielle dressed as a romance writer.
When not writing romances, Tielle has worked in public relations and video production for the past 20 years. Tielle moved to Alaska when she was seven years old in 1972 when her father was transferred with the military.
Tielle believes romances should be hot and sexy with a great story and fun characters.
Mission: Travel to Earth without delay, locate Harken, a fellow alien who threatens the entire universe if not stopped, and terminate him without the locals (other than the IPC) confirming the existence of extraterrestrials.
Cayl has heard of Earth but due to their primitive life forms and archaic technology has limited information to go off of and Cayl would like to keep it that way. To minimize exposure he's assigned a IPC liaison, Agent Devin Denning, to assist him. Their hunt leads them to the doors of Switch, an exclusive sex club, where no one gets through the door unless a member. The only person Devin knows who is a member is Mace, the guy she laughed at when he asked her out.
Mace hasn't been the same since Devin shot him down so when she calls him from out of the blue asking to get through the doors of Switch for herself and a friend he's gotta wonder why. He does agree and thus begins the adventure of a lifetime that no one in their right mind would believe....

Ellora's Cave publication. Heavy in adult content scenes of the m-f, m-m, and m-f-m variety. The BDSM scenes had a sugarkink, heavy emphasis on kink, quality. This was a read that featured an alien I personally would describe as a horny version of Spock who comes to Earth with feelings of superiority only to encounter the lust bug.
The fun was that Cayl had absolutely no preconceived notions about sexual norms so Mace AND Devin were viable lifeforms for sex. At times laugh out loud comical, at times squirmingly sensual, the author definitely pulled out all the stops to feature the characters in as many erotica scenes as possible. The problem is that the BDSM roles were blurred and just wrong in this triad relationship makeup. Totally pulled me out of the story.
I'm also a reader who has read more erotica than other readers so I need more than just sex, sex, sex. A solid plot/story line to give the story purpose. That wasn't there for me, and, there were editorial issues that were further problematic. It's all in the details.....
Bottom line is that I really liked the premise and style of writing by this author. It has a feel good vibe that you may want to check out for a chance of pace type read. Just don't go thinking all aliens are like Cayl as I'm sure he's one of a kind.
I really liked this story. The book was a bit short, only 12 chapters so there wasn’t much room for a full development of the story and characters.
This story is about an alien (Cayl) who comes from a planet that has no physical bodies. They share a Collective Memory. Tangent comment…The Borg/Star Trek…you will be assimilated…This story is all about the funnies, not for the Trekies out there.
Cayl was sent to Earth to find a bad guy. He is assigned a (gorgeous) body and partnered with (beautifully/full figured) Devin who is his agent at the IPC. At Cayl’s intake meeting comes the first quote that’s going to comeback to bite Cayl in the butt…Devin says “And we need to discuss sex” Cayl replies “I understand the human reproductive system, Agent Denning; I’m here to capture a killer, not indulge in these intrusive human senses.” And the hits just keep on keeping on. You see, the bad guy was last spotted at a sex club called SWITCH.
Cayl and Devin need a way to get into this members only club. Enter stage right is Mace (another hunk), a friend of a friend who previously asked Devin out and whom she though was joking and turned down –face palm- Anyway Devin calls Mace and he arranges to get all of them into the club. She tries to keep the alien aspect on the down low in the introduction stage but Cayl being Cayl is not shy about his origins. Mace thinks Cayl is wacky but goes along because…Hello!..Cayl is gorgeous and Mace wants some of that!
What happens for the next couple of days between the three of them is Erotic Hot and wicked funny lines. The mind might be the most sexual organ but Mr. Intellect might change his mind when he explores all his physical senses with Devin and Mace.
These days my favourite erotica to read is MMF, or what I like to call: a true threesome, where all three parties are into each other. For those that don't like man-love in any way shape or form, this book is not for you.
3.5 Stars
Oooh. This woman knows how to write a sex scene. This was a quick read (ebook 160 pages) but I enjoyed every moment of it! I've read a couple of St. Clare’s books now, and if there is one thing I can assure a prospective reader, she is very good at writing an engaging and hot sex scene between two bisexual men and a woman. This particular tale is of the sci-fi kind – which made me hesitate at first when I read the synopsis since it’s definitely not a genre I’m particularly fond of – where an alien is sent on a mission to catch and kill a dangerous power-hungry alien who’s fled to planet earth.
First we meet Devin, a human government worker, who welcomes Cayl to earth and provides him with his IDs, gives him a little 411 on human must-dos, most of which Cayl quickly disregards since humans are beneath him, and who shortly thereafter is tasked with escorting him through his time-sensitive mission on earth. Devin is not excited by the prospect of being his escort, especially when she finds out that in order to track and find this dangerous alien they must visit an exclusive sex club in the city. Not only is she dreading said sex club, but in order to get in she must find someone with a membership to the club. The only person she knows is Mace, a man she’d met a few weeks back, found quite attractive, but someone she’d subsequently laughed at, and in his face to boot, when he’d asked her out on a date thinking it was a joke. Mace begrudgingly agrees to get them in, and after the quick phone call request from Devin, meets them at the club. Before they head in, first task: get Devin into more appropriate sex club clothes – to blend in – and wouldn’t you know that all it takes is hiking up her skirt and wearing her suit blazer with nothing else underneath. After the men have completed their first once-over and boob-stare, they head into the club…. and let the sexcapades begin.
From this point forward we get to see Cayl discover many things about the human race he hadn’t anticipated. While he knew about human reproduction, he wasn’t expecting the sensory overload that comes with arousal and sex. He quickly discovers he loves Devin’s breasts, and after failing to find the evil alien that first night, it takes Mace to show him how to relieve his “affliction” down below when its decided Cayl will stay at Mace’s home. While Mace is openly bisexual, Cayl quickly discovers he also appreciates the male form and what it has to offer.
While they continue to search for this evil alien, bringing an element of suspense to the story, Cayl is continuing his sexual education, which continues once again at the club, as well as at Devin’s and Mace’s respective households. While he starts out his journey comparing humans to animals who can’t control their basic needs and wants, it’s clear as the story goes on that he is struggling with his own self-control and is forming an attachment to both humans. While the trio’s relationship is mainly sexual in nature, this attachment is also forming on both Mace and Devin’s parts as well. And it’s clear as the story goes on, that all three are – secretly - dreading the evil alien's capture and destruction, since once Cayl’s mission is complete he must return home.
Overall, this story and its characters could have been developed a little further, but that being said I still really enjoyed it. Beyond the sex scenes being all kinds of hot, Cayl cracks me up. From the way he speaks, to his fascination with Devin’s boobs, he’s just an enjoyable and memorable character for me as well as the highlight of this book. Towards the end there are some suspenseful as well as bittersweet moments, and I’m glad, because it made for a better-rounded story. It’s not perfect, but I’d recommend this to any fan of MMF even if sci-fi is not their preferred genre.

This is a really spicy erotic read and I can’t believe that my kindle didn’t catch on fire…
Cayl is an alien that is sent to Earth to capture an evil alien that could destroy Earth. He doesn’t have time for anything that is associated with humans. All that changes when Devin has to call in a favor to Mace to get into the members only sex club. When Cayl, Devin, and Mace go into the club and Cayl sees everything that is going on in front of his eyes his senses start coming alive. He decides to play along all in the name of experimentation. I thought about if I was an alien and came to Earth – what would I do with all of these new senses and how would I take everything in? To feel a human touch for the first time and experience sexual fulfillment for the first time – yes, I would be a sex maniac.
I will warn you that some of the hottest scenes are in the club. This is a menage that deals with a M/F/M relationship. It also has some BDSM in it. Other scenes just have either M/M and M/F. I’m not usually one that reads stories that deals with the same sex yet I can honestly say that I truly enjoyed this book. The sex scenes are pretty graphic. *smoking hot*
I just loved reading this book. I never know what I’m getting myself into until I start reading and that just gets my imagination going. It’s not just about the sex - there’s a really good story line in this book with an added touch of suspense and adventure. This book isn’t for everyone. It’s a little different with hot alien sex. Take a chance and discover your wild side to find out if Cayl uses what he’s experienced for himself or as a collective memory when he returns home.
While this story was quite hot, it wasn't exactly my type of hot. Not really into the BDSM thing, honestly (I can't stand the "you need to be punished for something unreasonable" thing). However, the BDSM was incredibly light, and could be ignored.
What actually bothered me was the relationship between the three characters. While the author tried to convey that they had a real "bond" by talking about the sparkles in their eyes, it wasn't made clear in any other way. I mean, okay, Mace obviously had a crush on Devin and vice versa, but after those three days of hot sex, they felt it was necessary to go back to building the relationship without sex (which honestly... I just don't understand) for three weeks. And it was explicitly mentioned that it was awkward and stiff! And as soon as she sees Mace with Cayl in his new form, she accuses Mace of being a slut and having boy toys, uhm whoa! Severe lack of trust here. Cayl also never went beyond having some "physical reactions" to the other two... okay so his chest hurt when he realized he had to leave, or when he thought of them with another man... I don't find that to be incredibly indicative of actual "bonding". The emotional bond just wasn't there. Basically, this book is a porn and since it had light BDSM it just didn't score that high for me.
On to the next thing... the sexual assault and rape scene. Yikes. Too detailed and scary. And I really doubt the "remedy" they chose for her was a good one. Nooope. I hate it when authors trivialize sexual assault in this manner. Wasn't there some other way to get the evil character to be evil? I mean, there are so many options... why sexual assault. every. single. time.??
I was thoroughly and pleasantly surprised by this book. The characters were likable, the sex was smokin' hot, and the story was simple enough that it worked with the length of the book. I'm surprised by this because I actually am not a fan of this author.
Plot is simple. Cayl is an alien who, escorted by the human female agent Devin, must track down an alien killer on earth. The alien killer, of course, has been frequenting a sex club. Devin contacts her acquaintance Mace to be their sex club guide as he is a member. Mace wants Devin and after taking a few glances at the uber hot Cayl is hot for him as well, obviously not really believing he is an Alien. The rest that follows is as expected.
A menage, standalone novella needs something special to make it stand out and this book has it. The quirky and candid nature of Cayl the alien is a refreshing take on the scifi genre. His disdain for humans quickly morphs into open mindedness as the pleasures of a human body become all too clear. His character really needed that humor because you were inclined to dislike him at the beginning of the book. Mace as well was an enjoyable instigator.
If you are looking for an emotion heavy book this is clearly not it. If you want something frivolous, funny at times, sexy and with an HEA? This is most definitely the book for you!
Hot hunky alien!! What a wonderful sexy hoot of a story. Devin is a staff person for an agency that helps aliens adapt to Earth. Mace is a guy she likes but assumes he doesn't like her. Sees herself as too plain. Cayl is our hunky alien sent to Earth to find a bad guy alien intent on doing harm. So where's the baddie been hanging out.... in a sex club! Seems that Mace is a member of said sex club so Devin enlists his help in gaining access. And so begin the very hot adventures of these three hanging out in a sex club "blending in" and doing what the other club members are doing. Cayl is a riot. He is encased in this unbelievable body that has Devin drooling but, because he is an alien, he is a bit rude. But he wants to blend in so.... you know where the story is going, right! Mace has secretly wanted Devin and now has a way to get her and oh, by the way, he is bi so he also wants Cayl. Wow, I needed a fire extinguisher for my kindle - this little gem of a story was smoking hot. The whole search for the baddie alien took a bit of back seat to the sexy times but what a funny, wonderful sexy read this was. Will definitely look for more of Ms. St. Clare's books.
Well, this is the story of Cayl, an alien out to hunt another alien on Earth. With the help of Devin and Mace, they find that alien on a sex club. Since this is a Tielle St. Claire, there is bound to have A LOT of sexual scenes, either penetrative or not.
Cayl draws information from a collective memory, a memory bank that every being like him shared from. He only resides in a body and more like an ethereal being. He is almost clinical in his observations and wants to experience everything sexually.
The chemistry is a bit forced between the three of them. It's like Mace and Devin just indulge Cayl in the sexual experiences, and the hot body that Cayl currently posses doesn't hurt either. There are no gratifications of happily ever after between the three of them, just enjoying each other's bodies. The main plot, which is the hunting of the alien villain is almost set aside to give way to more sexual exploits. Anyway, this is a read that will fill your boring hours.
Really a fun and steamy read. Cayl has come to earth chasing a serial killer, and has assumed a human body so he can "blend" with the natives. Devon is an kind of alien border patrol agent who's assigned to escort Cayl. Devon's friend Mace gets them access to the BDSM club where the alien killer has been seen.
It's sort of "Men in Black Get Their Kink On." It's funny -- we get an alien-eye view of human sex in all its various combination. It's sweet -- Cayl starts out as rather a jerk but mellows a lot. It's incredibly hot...a real Kindle-melter!
I'm so glad I read this, and will be looking for other books by this author!
The author once again drivers a sexy story with three very interesting characters, a woman, a man, and an amorphous blob of an alien in a study man-suit. They are on a hint for another alien who threatens not only Earth, but the rest of the galaxy. The catch is, the bad guy must hunt for his victims in a sex club and our three heroes must hunt him while gasping out their orgasms.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Earth established a diplomatic relationship with an alien world who sends Cayl to Earth to apprehend a criminal. Cayl meets Devlin and Mace on Earth and the fun begins as they search for the criminal. This book is hot and fun with lots of action. I highly recommend it and would love to see a sequel with Cayl, Mace and Devlin and the adventures they get into.
The premise was good---good alien chasing bad alien straight into sex club. I had higher hopes, quite honestly. Not that this wasn't a bad little story, but I didn't care for the point of view changes.
And the book could have used some more editing for grammar.
If I was just giving a rating for erotic love scenes, would have gone with 5 stars. Some the hottest sex scenes I've ever read...practically sizzled off the pages. But only 3 stars for the overall story. Good characters and good concept but would have enjoyed more development.
Delightful, light reading. Dialogue: smooth, quirky (especially Cayl) Characters: defined Plot: Not much of one - focus on the sex. Sex scenes: Plenty and well written (and hot!) Writing: Skillfully enough to not detract from the story. Recommended:Yes
