For undergraduate or graduate courses in Quality Management. This text focuses students on how to effectively manage quality. Students must understand their businesses, understand the quality body of knowledge, understand the available tools, and have a method for planning quality improvement based on this knowledge.
Definitely an interesting book. My favorite parts had to do with historical figures in Quality Management, the different awards and certificates, and the types of quality systems out there.
I finished this book about three weeks ago at the end of my course. After the first five or six chapters, it became much more informative. However, it is geared toward classroom study. Overall, I am satisfied with the information gained from the book, but I would not likely recommend it to individuals looking to learn about Supply Chain Management.
