As an avid horse rider -until age 22 or so - I thought I still knew a lot. Getting back in to riding and ownership I found this a nice refresher with some new things I did t know. I actually learned a lot as this is a very comprehensive look at horses, riding and ownership. I’m not a dummy but I did like the book.

I used this book as a quick reference throughout my high school horseback riding and 4-H Club career. It was a great reference, and was also a fun, interesting read.

It proved somewhat useful. Don't regret getting it and reading it (though mostly as a reference).
