This is no longer available. It was a short blog story and has been taken down and the ideas used in a new long book called New York Christmas.
- - - - Christmas 2010 and the man of his fantasies is back in Chris's life. If only he could get the words out and talk to Daniel, everything would, probably--maybe just be kind of cool.

Wow, this was way more intense than I was expecting! I think I just went through every single emotion reading this little story. I'm also pretty sure this was my first time reading RJ Scott. Hmm
Note to self: must read more RJ...and find a dozen a few muffins.
This was such a cute, sweet story I couldn't help but smile when it was over.
Chris and Daniel make such an adorable couple and I loved the little angst brought into the story with what happened at Chris's job and then what happens at Daniel's.
I just loved the story. It's definitely a feel good read. One that I wish was longer! I hope RJ writes more about these two someday. Definitely recommended.
I thought this was a fantastic free read from RJ Scott. It was fairly short but I loved the characters of Daniel and Christian and I really enjoyed watching their relationship progress. I was also excited to learn that RJ Scott is planning to post a new chapter in this story on various friends' websites. For more information, check out RJ's website:
A lovely story for my coffee break! Its a short story about chris (a teacher dealing with being forced out of his job) and daniel ( a ny cop). Short stories have to miss out quite a lot but would have loved to delve more into chris's insecurities and found put more about daniel - quite in the background for a main character, espec how his family and nypd dealt with his being gay. Has humour and tears, great writer.
