Part of the First Time For Everything Daily Dose 2011 collection

Dr. Andy Jameson considers the job of team physician for a regional college football team to be the perfect prelude to a specialized residency. But tending to injuries suffered during the brutal, full-contact sport is nothing compared to the injury he inflicts upon himself by falling in love with the ruggedly handsome head coach, Erik Sheridan. Andy’s content to love from afar until he literally sees the writing on the wall—a message hastily scrawled on the coach’s bathroom mirror—and realizes his last night on the job could be just the beginning of a life with the man he loves.

This is a very sweet (also steamy) contemporary story about, of course, a "first time". It's also the debut of this author.

What struck me about this story was the quality of "flow". The story is alive, fully immersive, the kind of writing that goes much deeper than other authors that go through the motions of romance. There's real feeling in here, which is a pretty rare quality in all writing.

There's something in there - that spark or living quality - that promises a lot for future works of this author, and I am looking forward to further, and longer works.

I really liked this short, very steamy story about a young doctor and a football coach. The tension as Andrew spends his last night working on injured players is palpable. He wants Erik with a vengeance, but is too shy to take the first step, not even knowing if the much older man is gay. I loved how Erik communicated his interest - then held nothing back.

If you like your stories full of sexual tension with a hint at deeper emotions, you will probably like this short book.

Very sweet and very hot short story. Although we hardly know anything about the characters, the way the author described the longing, the uncertainty and gentleness as well as chemistry between them made me care for both Andy and the coach. Doing that within less than 25 pages is plenty.

Though we get to know very little about Andrew and Erik, this little story was well-written and I really felt the connection between the two men. I simply wish that we knew a little more about them, other than this basic couple of scenes.

While it is pretty sweet, but I feel like I don't know anything (enough) about the two main characters. In the end, it's a bit forgettable.

A twenty-two page story that moves along with very good writing including a hot sex scene and a tenderly romantic ending. I have enjoyed this author’s writing before and am glad that I got to read this story of the football coach who throws his heart over the bar and shoots his shot with the team physician. I love what he wrote on the mirror!

I wish that there was more. This snippet comes in after they've done all their falling in love & I would have loved all of that story. It's sad to see that there's nothing else listed on here by this author.

Did not finish.

In 26 pages the word COACH was used 152 times. Yes, yes! Almost 6 times by pages.

I read the other reviews and it seems that I'm the only one that the fact that this word is under abuse, bother. For my part I was not able to read the story completely since I only focus on this word and this affected my reading of the book. I find it rather creepy, to be honest.

This is a delightful example of just how a short story should be!

In only 23 pages Monika Krasnorada shows us (emphasis on shows) that Dr. Andy has had a long time crush on the “straight” college football coach he works for as a team doctor.

Sweet but short story about a doctor and a coach who are interested in one another but neither make a move until the doc decides to resign. The little message on the bathroom mirror just confirmed it all...aww loved it

Sweet and super short. I would have loved to learn more about the development of their relationship and even more, what happens after.

Fragile sure packs a punch for a short story. I loved how intense it was so quickly...definitely a satisfying gay-for-you between a coach and a sports doctor. HOT enough to put a smile on my face!
