Extraordinary self criticism is the prevalent feature of this eye opening account of the Cyprus conflict from the Turkish Cypriot perspective. The author spent years as a high profile member of a nationalist Turkish Cypriot militia and has had rare access to actors and events that shaped the island during the last half of the 20th century. Published in Greek by Makarios Drousiotis one of the rare truly independent investigative journalists in the region. Strongly recommended.
