Spiritual Warfare: Fighting Demons

Rate this book
Spiritual warfare is a reality that many Christians have to endure on a daily basis. As we are now living during the last days before our Messiah returns, we are confronted by more attacks from our adversary. Demons are manipulating the minds of both nonbelievers and Christians and now it is time for us to learn how to fight back. Many Christians are finally coming to the realization that they are soldiers in Christ, but do not know how to battle the enemy who has infiltrated our very minds. The author explains spiritual warfare through modern day concepts and includes some of his own experiences. This book goes beyond the basic teachings of the whole armor of God and is necessary for battling the demons who manipulate the world around us.

I just finished reading this book and found the author to be very wise and knowledgeable in his writings. I too have wrestled with spiritual warfare on several occasions in my life and found that a few things mentioned in this book have happened to me. Such as dreams where evil spirits have tried to attack me and waking up to find myself still under attack to only be able to barely get the name of Jesus out in a whisper before being able to rebuke the devil fully once I've regained my breath and voice. This book talks about several situations the author has been through and how to handle them along with how to continue a daily walk with Jesus while staring down the face of adversity. I would recommend this book to anyone that is in search of how to handle spiritual warfare; however, I do not recommend starting it at bedtime if you intend on getting any sleep for many reasons. I won't spoil it for you, but rather entice you to read this book for yourself as a tool of guidance, in which is what it was meant to be. Well done Scott Meade! This book has helped me as I am sure it will continue to help others. Be encouraged and continue to allow GOD to use you.

Scott Meade has done a wonderful job on his first work of non-fiction. You won't find a lot of fluff in this book. The author gets straight to the point about the topic of spiritual warfare and presents only the facts necessary to cover the topic. By combining the Biblical truths with a few of his personal experiences with demons, he presents the facts needed by Christians to meet and defeat the enemy. His conclusions are theologically sound. It won't take anyone long to read this book; however, it would be a mistake to read the entire book in only a hour or so. It is suggested that each reader take the time to think about the information presented in each of the short chapters before moving on to the next chapter. This is information all Christians need.
