Valerie Christine Parv was a popular Australian writer of over 70 romance novels, with more than 34 million sales. She published her novels in Mills & Boon's since 1982.
This was disappointing. Typical romance novel fare. Intrigue? I think not. When you have the entire story figured out by page 5, and are coming up with your own twists and turns, but sadly, no such luck, it makes you wish that that you had stuck to novels that have romance included, and not taking center stage.
Finally. Action. Intrigue. And yeah, okay, the romance. I have vague memories of this book from WAYY back 20 years ago when I started reading it the first time but I'm pleased to say the ending still surprised me, the clandestine dealings still made me go, 'oh!' Really enjoyed this one...the halfway point of the series!
