I loved the book, not just because I'm a pilot and can relate to her stories, but because Lane Wallace has a lively and warm quality to her writing style that make you feel like you are flying with her. There were hilarious moments as well as sad; and many, many times that I wished I could have been in her shoes.

I enjoy articles and books about favorite flights and have thought about writing something like this myself. Although nothing earth-shattering, as the saying goes, it feels like chicken soup for the soul. Reading about flying, thinking about flying, flying, are all my happy place. This is no different.
