Dit was zeker een leuk boek, ik ben blij dat al dat activisten gedoe niet TE is gedaan. Sorry, niks tegen activisten, maar als je ziet wat Greenpeace soms uithaalt dan wordt ik niet blij, dat is niet de manier om dingen voor elkaar te krijgen.
Dus ja, zeker blij met dat stuk, en ook heb ik hard gelachen toen de meiden de jongens moesten bevrijden, wat een sukkels. :P
Ik vond het ook leuk dat het plaatsvond in Barrow, en dat er veel informatie was over de Inuit.
De love triangle was een beetje meh, maar gelukkig gebeurde x en y en was het weer goed.

The ninth book in the Thea Stilton series, this book takes the Thea Sisters to Alaska for a meeting with the Green Mice to talk about the melting of the Polar Ice Caps, but soon things start to go wrong when explosions and kidnappings happen. Will the Thea Sisters be able to figure out this new mystery in Alaska while trying to help the environment?

This was a very interesting book about the Polar Ice Caps and how climate change is affecting them. There was also lots of interesting facts on Alaska and the native people of the region. Very interesting and captivating.

The Thea sisters always makes me feel like super woman of sorts. Although this story took a bit longer to cook, it still ended with a bang! The plot was having the Thea sisters attend green conference given by the Green Mice in Barrow, Alaska, to take a closer look at the earth's state of health. Turns out, they discover a ship illegally exploding icebergs for the creation and sale of mineral water. With the help of police, the Thea sisters and friends successfully capture the culprits. Somewhere in there two of the Thea sisters have their eye on one gentleman Ashvin. Turns out he was not as amazing as they thought, and the takeaway would be not to let a crush come between their friendship with each other. Stilton series always a fun read for children of all ages including me!

Thea Stilton was what got me into reading in the first place. I have 16 Thea Stilton books. And i loved them all. I still love them, but i don't enjoy them as much as i used to. Because as i grow older, my interest in Young Adult Fantasy grows too. And i've been reading books by Leigh Bardugo or Victoria Aveyard. I think Thea Stilton will forever be my childhood favorite book. I love Paulina and Will, they're perfect for each other <3 (I apologize if there were misspellings or incorrect grammar, English isn't my first language and I am still learning something new everyday, so please tolerate me if there were mistakes)

Questo libro mi è piaciuto molto perché racconta una storia anche per alcuni aspetti purtroppo è vera, infatti ci sono persone che solo per soldi fanno esplodere con la dinamite i ghiacciai
dell' Alaska (facendo poi l'acqua) questo però è molto grave perché stiamo mettendo a rischio i ghiacciai e l' ambiente di alcuni esseri viventi.
Io lo ho raccontato in un modo un po' triste ma vi assicuro che è molto bello👍🏼
Racconta anche di delle tradizioni e piatti tipici dell' Alaska.

Despite being fast-paced and having an important mystery (despite it being spoiled on the back), the ninth installment of the Thea Sisters could have been stronger if we had gotten to see a little more of the side characters. I wanted to know why some of the mice got involved with Green Mice, especially Ashvin.

I love how these books are full of facts and information. It gives me a chance to teach my boys about other things that probably wouldn't have crossed my mind. Again, it's geared more for girls, but my boys had no issue with it. In my opinion, these books are great for all genders.
