A very informative short history of Lane County, Oregon. Similar to an Oregon Bluebook for the 19th Century. Beginning with the Kalapuyahs, then trappers, military, and emigrants, first to the coast and the southern end of the Willamette Valley. Nice pieces on Eugene and Mary Skinner, Joseph Lane, George and Maria Belshaw. For those who like history but don't want to tackle heavy-duty books.
