Welcome to Book 2 of the Grey Flame Series... Let's bring you up to
The Empire had practically erased Elemien from the Nauwer narrative, but behind the looming cloud sat this long-forgotten nation, with a vengeful queen at its head. This woman was none other than the one responsible for Faera’s growing up a Breylynne, instead of as a royal child of people that had risen from the ashes of the Ancient War.
Their arrival at Terrington Palace heralded a time of discovery for Faera, Ariella, Robyn, Adam and Owen. They would come face to face with a past that they had never known and would struggle to accept.
With discovery, however, comes the need for decision, and Faera would find herself caught between her identity as a Breylynne, and the role laid out for her by a mother she had never known. But what about the father she had never known? Faera had questions that everyone refused to answer and although she should’ve known better than to ask, the question remained. The answer would come unexpectedly when she was abducted a second time by abductors unknown.
For the first time in months, the five would be forcefully separated, the figure in her dreams would take form, and Faera would have to get close to yet another acquaintance; a particularly unpleasant one who bore partial responsibility for her traumatic past.
