Cell-Level Healing: The Bridge from Soul to Cell

Rate this book
Our bodies glow with the miracle of life pulsing in 100 trillion cells. Spiritual resources can positively influence the wizardry of our natural cell science that repairs and renews the body. Cell-Level The Spiritual Bridge From Soul to Cell provides instruction at the interface of biology and spirit.

While Masaru Emoto shows us that our thoughts change the structure of water, Dr. Hawkes shows that our thoughts change the functioning of our cells.

Profoundly effective, yet simple to understand and use, the principles of appreciation, clearing, flow, and cell-level healing described and illustrated in Cell-Level Healing promote vibrant health. The book embarks on the premise that healing is a basic part of human nature, and provides a guide for the reader to tap their innate healing abilities.

Introducing the concept of cell-level healing, the book leads the reader through exercises for health and healing. Illustrated with stories, electron microscope photography, and other inspiring pictures by the author, the book shows how simple tenets of spiritual healing can be applied to individual situations.

1. Appreciation of the physical body is described through the eyes of a cell biologist with spiritual insight. Attributes of the universe that apply to healing include mystery, creativity, balance, and resiliency.

2. The principle of clearing addresses emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects.

3. A chapter on flow examines the nature of soul language or vibrational uniqueness, rate, and direction of energy movement.

4. Deepening the conscious reach of healing to the cellular level gives this book its unique place among the collection of books on healing.

This is a great book for people like me who are practitioners of Energy Medicine. I read this all the way through this first time and I know I will be referring to it a lot in my practice. There were some great exercises to help the person get in touch with their own natural healing process at the deep down cellular level. I am thrilled I got this book and will be using it a lot. I recommmend this for anyone who is into alternative healing.

This book was published in 2006, the same year as "The Secret" I believe. It's fascinating how great minds think on parallel planes. I read both around that time and put them on my shelf. Since then I've read a considerable number of books all on the same topic but basically under different headings. It's finally starting to sink in that they may have a point! Our deep seated enculturation is ingrained every day by circumstances that we've learned to view a "set" way. We've all been misinformed about the facts of our true nature. The new zeitgeist of "thought" activation is becoming more prevalent today, however. People are beginning to accept different views like the ones in this little book about cells. It is well written, thought provoking and well organized.

Joyce Hawkes has the ability to write complex ideas in simple ways for those "AhHa" moments! Our cells are the "go between" reality and non-reality or between local and non-local events. As I understand it the nano-space between the atoms in our cells unites with energy to perpetually create or recycle cells. This nano-space is like Roshi's "Nothing", Einstein's "Mind of God" or Mindell's ProcessMind. The reproduction or recycling of cells happens so rapidly it can not be compared to anything we "know" in linear time. We can no longer define in words what takes place. Our cells go into a "quantum reality", a sort of non-locality meaning they can be here or everywhere at the same time. The author doesn't exactly go into detail about non-locality probably because it's a concept that many people are not ready to grasp.

I found the beginning of the book especially interesting. She basically gives her routine meditations for some specific ailments in the later part of the book. It's well worth the read!

This short book was written by a cell biologist who became a spiritual healer after a near-death experience. She describes her practice, which is something like Reiki, where she can feel blockages in the flow of life-energy and uses meditation to clear them. She includes case studies of her patients and reports some remarkably successful outcomes, including with remote healing. I found the book to be a bit disorganized, but the author demonstrates clear understanding of cellular biology, and what she writes aligns with other sources I have read on vital energy and spiritual healing. The book includes helpful meditation/visualization guides and some nice photographic plates.

If you believe in mental healing (even if as a placebo,) or as a spiritual practice, this book is very helpful!! Especially because she has suggestive exercises you can do for yourself at home. ( my favorite aspect and my honest advice.) Ms Hawkes was a renown biologist and holds a position of fellow in American Association for the Advance of Science.

A surprise gift from a friend. Reading about Dr. Hawkes NDE and her call to healing is a
wonderful affirmation of my own personal beliefs. I particularly find helpful the "Bridge to Healing" guide and meditations. So helpful!!!

Many 'spiritual' books lack substance. This work if far better than most, illustrating the perceived truths the author asserts with observations from physics and biology. Providing helpful but not overly dogmatic exercises is a plus. Highly recommended.

Really inspired by this book, and working on daily meditations now which I will soon move into healing meditations. Trying my best to stay out of knee surgery #4 .. at least trying to not go through soon as wedding is coming up in a few months!

Hoping some positive healing thoughts and meditation will keep me healthy at least for another few months, if not longer!

This book was so inspiring and well-written!

I checked it out from the library but am considering purchasing a copy to keep at home for future reference and enjoyment.

Joyce Hawkes, after having a near-death experience, changed her work from being a scientist into becoming a healer. This book discusses cell biology, and how cells make up your body, and how you can use that knowledge to aid in self and spiritual healing.

A biophysicist has a near death experience and becomes an energy healer -- intersting scientific and woo-woo perspective on healing.

This book provides some useful meditations to try to correct illness, though it is uncertain if any rise above the placebo effect.

Books that purport to be scienctific but lack science to back up the author's "opinions" really annoy me.
