Yep yep yep, anyone in equine science of even just enjoys horses and wants to know more about them, I highly highly recommend this text. If I went to the Library of Congress I would not find a better fundamental text than this.

This book is so great!! There are things in here I NEVER even knew about horses. I am borrowing it from my library but I do plan on buying this book so I have my own copy!! Lots of horse health issues covered. Probably all of them. :)

Very good guide to equine physiology and medicine, written in language that a lay person can understand. Fantastic medical illustrations of anatomy.
