I read it as a Child. And ever since I have been wondering what was so wrong about Prince Rogers Nelson "putting his brother on the payroll".
Now, I work with some wonderful women and sby who makes Coffee.

Not so much a book as a diary of events in Prince's life, the book is an astonishing look at the life and work of a workaholic pop superstar. I had read a few Prince bios before, but none conveyed how much time and effort Prince has put into his music like this collection of concerts, studio sessions, rehearsals, etc., all chronicled according to date.

The book is illustrated with photographs of numerous concert announcements, ads, etc. and ends with pages of lists, lists, lists. (The one thing it is sadly lacking is an index.)

This book is a must for any serious fan. It reads like a journal (practically daily) about Prince from 1978-1992. I HIGHLY recommend getting a copy if you are that much of a fan! I will say, I am surprised that there is no mention of Madonna's Like a Prayer (which Prince contributed too; Love Song) yet it seems like EVERY other contribution to an artist (including those not on Paisley Park) is addressed. Regardless, a good read!

A month by month (!) overview of Prince's career up to 1989, this should probably be called 'The Prince Files' rather than a documentary. But it is still occasionally informative and entertaining.

De Nederlandse vertaling van Per Nilsen's verbluffende catalogus van Prince-lijke feiten, data, etcetera. Mijn exemplaar is stukgelezen.
