Divine Double Trouble is set in the town of Divine, Kansas - the Midpoint of the continuous 48 states. Is Divine, Kansas protected by a guardian angel? What does seeing the Divine Angel foreshadow? Hope Callaghan's writing style hooks me with delightful descriptions of the small town setting, intriguing characters and a mystery. As a reader, I enjoy how Hope Callaghan summarizes what happened previously, and then throws the reader a mystery and builds the suspense with lots of red herrings. In a non-judgmental way contemporary issues (crime, half way house, small town prejudices and bullying) are addressed. Yes, there is Double Trouble with identical twins Courtney and Carli. Will Carli come to the rescue with her special gift? Believable characters (some very likeable / others very annoying), twist and turn plot and a satisfying resolution. Recipe for Delta’s Cinnamon Carmel Coffee Cake included.

👼 Angels 😇 on High
If I could get this 10 stars ⭐️ I would! I absolutely love the Divine books. Jo is an amazing person and it’s a joy reading about her, The Second Chance Ranch, and the woman that she helps.
In this book Jo loses Leah to the farm next-door when she graduates out of the house. And everything is great until, because she’s an ex-con, someone decides to frame her for the murder of the supervisor.
Can Jo help Leigh find out who actually did it? Or will the police be shortsighted and not look very hard because Leah is an ex-con.
Meanwhile on the farm Jo has to find two more people to fill the space that Leigh left and she had one more space to begin with. She looks at two women who are twins, to see if they fit in with the other women. The girls raised by their father into a life of crime. Have they come clean in prison? Have they changed? Or is Jo going to end up with double trouble!
Cannot wait for the next 📖 book.

Things are Changing at Divine
Leah McEllish has successfully completed the program at Jo Pepperdine's halfway house and training facility where previously incarcerated women are given a second chance at a good life. Leah is leaving the farm for her dream job, but it seems someone has nefarious plans to take advantage of Leah's past to frame her for their own crimes.
Jo has two vacancies in her program she and the Reverend are working to fill. The reverend tells Jo about sisters that are twins and one refuses to talk for some unknown reason. Jo is torn, should she take on this major undertaking or pass on the sisters!
I love and appreciate that Jo and the staff and residents of the farm pray and I find myself praying for them as I read!

Do twins equal double trouble?
I really enjoy this series and am so grateful to be on Hope’s ARC team! Jo Pepperdine runs a halfway house for women getting out of prison and needing a fresh start. When Leah finishes and is hired to work at a nearby farm, Jo brings on twins, Courtney and Carli. Carli doesn’t speak, but hears and understand s and can write responses. When a disliked manager at the farm is murdered, Leah is a suspect, especially with her convict background. But Jo knows she is innocent and has plans to try and prove it! A fascinating story with some twists and turns. I received a free copy of this book and write this review voluntarily.

Another great addition
The Divine series is one of my favorites by Hope, but this one was so good! Even with my full time work schedule, I finished it in two days! The twins being the new addition to the farm is so interesting, especially with Carli choosing not to talk but able to read lips. I kept expecting her to talk, especially when she was reading Buzz and Sandi plotting to set up Leah. I am always disappointed when the book ends but eagerly awaiting for the next book. Keep these coming, Hope!

Devine Double Trouble
I absolutely love Hope Callaghan's books. If you're not reading her different series of books you're missing out as they're great. Ou are hooked from the first page. You really feel you're part of Devine and Jo and everyone else. Finishing the book is kind of bitter sweet as you have to wait on the new adventures. I gave it 5 stars because it is just that good.

Another Divine angels sighting
Jo graduates another resident and welcomes twins to the second chance family. Will the new arrivals fit in to the program and make the needed changes to thrive outside of prison? How will Leah be accepted as the newest employee on a neighboring farm, especially when her supervisor is found murdered?
I love the Divine series! The characters are people I would love to have as friends, so it is a joy to read about these fictional friends. 😊

Second chances Christian cozy
Jo Pepperdine's farm leads to second chances for released women convicts. She takes a chance on a set of twins and is rewarded when both women try hard to show her her trust was warranted. Jo must solve a neighbor's murder when Leah is a suspect. This cozy has bits of humor and a dash of romance to make it a fun read.

Jo and friends face a confusing challenge but their smarts, faith and teamwork see them through. We meet some new faces and enjoy the progress and growth of those we have come to love. Divine Series Never Fails.
Absolutely love this series and all the women in it. Jo is a wonderful character with a big heart and sense of fairness. Jo believes in second chances therefore the girls don't want to disappoint her. I only wish Hope could write these awesome books quicker. Highly recommend this series.

JoAnne Pepperdine has a rehabilitation farm program for women. One graduate Leah gets in trouble on her first job outside of program - and her former employer always helps when needed. A pair of twins are new residents and thus comes a new challenge. Looking forward to book 11 to see what happens with the twins. Series is fun, easy read, and inspirational.

A nice clean murder mystery. Jo has two new residents at the farm as Leah leaves to work at the farm next door. The farm Leah moves to has a murder and someone is trying to frame Leah. One of the new residents sees one of the Divine Angels just before a storm hits. I can't wait to read the next book.

With one of her recent residents suspected of murder and troubled twins just entering her probation program, Joanna has her hands full. This delightful series is beautifully crafted and uplifting. The characters are believable, varied and fully developed. These mysteries are everything I’ve come to expect from Ms. Callaghan’s books and I’m looking forward to the next one!

Fabulous, can’t put them down
Can’t wait for the next one. I have read most all of your series except one and so far they are all brilliant. I love each one they are so different and look forward to more. The Divine books are absolutely wonderful. Not enough words to express how wonderful they are to read.

Adore this series!
Every episode is unique and special. The stories impart love,acceptance, and belief. People need these thought provoking type of reads,especially now as we continue to battle this pandemic, racism, hate crimes etc.

Another good story
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy reading Hope Callaghan’s stories!
They are filled with adventure, mystery, fun, and intrigue. They’re funny and heart warming and have a little of everything in them. Capturing your attention and not letting go! I could read her books all day, if given the opportunity, ( sometimes I do anyway).

Another engrossing read
I love this series a lot and Book 10 is another winner filled with intrigue and suspense that come one after the other. There is never a dull moment here . Looking forward to reading the next book in the series and an wondering when another wedding will take place.

Another hit
I am truly enjoying these stories, each one keeps you wondering and interested. My only problem is continuity. One paragraph says Deputy Franklin investigated then later it is said the Sheriff came to investigate. Just one that I remembered as is was in the book. Still love the stories though.

You never know
Just when you think one thing is going to happen, something totally happens. I thought the twins were going to be trouble. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. But thankfully it didn't.
I love how, when a resident leaves they really flourish even though they become a target.

excellent!
I enjoy all of Hope Callaghan’s books but I think the Divine series is my favorite. This latest book in the series held my attention
from start to finish, and warmed my heart. I suggest starting with the first book in the series and reading them all!

Divine Double Trouble book ten this this series was an excellent read that I enjoyed and because of that I could not put it down. I finished it much too quickly and can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

I really enjoyed reading the continued happenings with Joe Pepper dine and her residents. The story plot unfolded in a way that kept you guessing who did it. Love this series and hope it continues. Hope Callaghan is one of my favorite authors.

Hope Callaghan has once again written the Best Mystery Book. I wasn’t able to even guess close to this one. I enjoy and Highly recommend All of Hope’s books. They are intriguing, clean and Great mystery fun.

Another great read.
I have read all the Divine series, each one better than the one before. This one seemed short to me but I might be wrong. I love all the characters, and love that our Lord and Savior is mentioned in each book.

Good cozy mystery
I have enjoyed this whole series and this one was really good! I love being able to read a good mystery without worrying about the bad language or sex scenes. These are clean interesting mysteries with a touch of romance!
