This is the story of a great lady who did a great wrong to a mere man, a man so nearly insignificant and uncouth as to be almost unworthy of the honour.
From wiki therefore questionable - Alfred Edgar Coppard (January 4, 1878–January 13, 1957) was an English writer, noted for his influence on the short story form, and poet.
anthropophagi mention automatically ups this 1*, however it was only worth a 'yeah and...' in the first place. lol
