Baltimore in the 50's and 60's. Barry Levenson's movie DINER is closely related. In fact Levenson is mentioned several times. Parts are cute, and funny but overall very dull. Growing up in that period (in Boston) I could relate to some of the mis-adventures. I don't know if I can recomend this book.

A great Northwest Baltimore 1960's book that reminded me of my chilhood. I loved this book! Also, if you liked this one, you'll like Sixty Six by Barry Levinson!
