Hi! I’m Sarah Cass, author, nurse, mom of three, wife, and caretaker of six spoiled rescue cats. I’ve been writing stories for over 20 years, and they tend to get a little spicy, a little emotional, and a little mysterious—just the way I like them.

This series really is a grower, each book takes us just a little deeper into not just the world of the Tribe, but also into the complex relationships between characters. Velli may be one of the most irritating yet wonderful women I have ever read about, I find myself alternatively frustrated by her poor decision making and fascinated by her thought processes, especially when it comes to her secret keeping.
In this fourth book , we delve a little more into the world of science and technology, as Velli seeks to help her friend John ,while developing a relationship with the daughter she thought she had lost, and caring for her young son. Since this is not enough to keep her busy, she also finds herself agreeing to help a mystical Raven, despite not entirely trusting him, and soon finds that she will have to blend magic and science in ways she has never even dreamed of.
There is so much happening in this book that I found myself reading it in record time, every time I went to put it down ,something else happened and I needed to know what would happen next. I was also pleased to see some real character development, especially among some of the smaller background characters, and as for that ending...well all I will say is I fear some truly trying times ahead for Velli, Kane and their expanding family.

First can i just say i'm over the moon this is not the last book in this series .Picking up & starting this book was like finding old friends & catching up with them .
Just when life should be settling down on the tribes lands for Velli & Kane she gets an SOS to go help her old mentor John . The conflict between him & the lion trapped inside the same body is slowly driving him mad , a situation made more difficult as the lion insists Kai is his mate while John is denial . Just to make life that little bit more interesting the Raven spirit also wants something from Velli but whether she will be willing to do what he wants is another matter .Plenty of twists ,the usual chaos that follows Velli , not all of it of her making this time , some heartache & an unexpected visitor makes for an enthralling read.

This is the next installment of The Tribe Series and wow its got so much content and is moving the story on further, more things become clear. I love the characters and how they interact with the others, the spiritual side of the story as well. The descriptions of all the animals is clear, the markings and colours you can picture in your mind as you are reading about them. All the science stuff is usually way beyond me, I'm not good with that or maths apart from the basics but the author does a great job describing all that goes on making it quite clear. Nirveli and Kane are strong separately together unstoppable, they have a fantastic connection with each other. Their bond as a couple and the wolves and with their kids, I hope at some point that the missing child realises and comes forward to join them all in the future. This is one of the best and most beautiful but complex paranormal series I have read and each book is shear pleasure that I savour each part, I hate when it ends and I have to wait for Sarah to write and release the next. Highly recommended reading even if you don't normally like paranormal books, its easy reading but has lots of twists and turns and some mystery.

I love this series, but this book left me a little disappointed. The was very exciting and it kept me interested. I just felt that there were some parts that were a little confusing and could have used more explanation.
