Great Book, talks about being daring men for Christ and how real men should act. Great book

Daring: A Call to Courageous Manhood is not a book I would typically read. First, it is written for men to encourage them to rediscover what it truly means to be a God-honoring, daring, and courageous man in the world today. Second, the author challenges men explicitly to awaken from their complacency, defy their fears, and change their life to fulfill the purpose of being a man. As a woman reading this book, I wasn't sure what I would get out of it. To my surprise, a lot!
I picked up the book because I wanted to better understand what my husband and son deal with as Christians in this fallen world today. However, what I found was encouragement for me too. The book takes men on a journey through the topics of standing strong, following God, training to win, facing fears, taking risks, enduring, dying to self, and accepting challenges. Again, topics that are crucial for women too.
God's Holy Word does not change, and many of the verses shared can apply to both men and women. The same goes for the carefully selected quotes and stories sprinkled throughout the book. Although the book is written for men, I truly believe all Christians can read it and gain a wealth of wisdom from it.
I appreciated the author's desire to encourage men, the format of the book, and the words shared. The book is well-written! I have informed my husband and son they need to add this book to the top of their reading list.

The book is a call to all men to be courageous and take a stand. The author references men from the Bible who took a stand against evil. God has ordained men to fight for freedom and protect their family. One of my favorite scriptures talks about God having a plan for our life. It is a good reminder to listen to God and follow his directions. People love to tell others what they should do, but God is the one we need to listen to.
This would be a good Bible Study for a men’s group. It has many examples of what God has called men to be. He wants them to follow Him, stand firm and know they don’t face battles alone. It is always better to be around like minded people who have the same mind set as you. The following is something that I found very profound in the book. It talks about Joshua and Caleb’s faith in God and five key statements that can be applied to our lives. “First you have an unlimited source of strength. Second it is your land. Third don’t look back . Fourth never quit . Fifth Big God/small devil.”

In "Daring: A Call to Courageous Manhood," Paul Louis Cole challenges all men to rise up, daringly and courageously, to wield the baton of leadership in the world today. This fiery book comes at a strategic time in world history. Through it, God's Spirit will ignite flames in the hearts of men, spurring them on to live by God's standards. "Daring" issues a clarion call for strong men of faith to rise up in the family, in the Church and in the world today. This is the urgent need of the hour. When life's debris rains down upon their heads, daring men stand strong and fight to survive victoriously. Daring men fill their hearts and minds with God's Word, to get courage and strength. The true test is in the fiery crucible of character. Daring comes only through the empowering grace of God in the hearts of men, liberating them to be like their Master, Jesus Christ, bold, resolute, strong, powerful and focused, submissive to all, yet yielding to none, bowing only to God the Father. I highly recommend "Daring" to everyone who truly aspires to become what God intends them to be.

Daring: A Call to Courageous Manhood by Paul Louis Cole is a book for todays Christian Men.
I feel this book would be a GREAT Men's Bible Study. The book has an easy to read format and is Scripture based. The Author notes that Men today need to be DARING and Stand Firm and be Courageous. The Author points Men in the direction of beings leaders for the family and that even though Society has seen a "Role Reversal" from what God created, Christian Men need to stand up and lead their families. Men, just like Women, need to be around Like Minded Men and create a group that encourages the constant Courageous battle Men must have to be in the Word and the Lord. The Author shares personal experiences and also Scripture about Being Daring and Courageous. I am a Mom of 3 Boys, who are now 19, 18, and 17. My goal for them has always been to be Godly Men and learn to Stand in their Faith. I am going to be buying my boys each of this book to further encourage them as they have reached Young Adulthood! GREAT BOOK!

First, let me say this. The cover. Oh my. I love it! I also felt at the beginning that this was not a book that I was going to enjoy reading because it’s made for men. It’s right there in the title. But honestly, it was a wonderfully well-written book that captivated me. If anything, it gave me some insight into men and their roles.
This book encourages men to rise up and take on their leadership roles both in the home and in the church. It would make a wonderful Bible or book study for a group of men. And honestly, I think all young men should read it as they begin their journey as men on their own.

Daring: A Call to Courageous Manhood is a Christian Living book that is written by Paul Louis Cole. This would be a good book to unpack with a men's bible study. The author encourages men to stand up and be courageous. I like how it touched on showing that God made our roles and the world wants us to switch them and not be unique. The author shows how God called men to be courageous, leader of the family, and to follow Him. The author does a nice mix of personal experiences and Bible References. I enjoyed seeing all the dots connected.
This is a good book for a men's bible study. It is well written and has relevant Bible verses sprinkled through it. While I am not a male, I felt that it helped me to understand what God wants for my husband.

Daring: A Call to Courageous Manhood by Paul Louis Cole is a great book geared for men. I found it to be moving how the author was able to show tips and stories of daring men from the past and using references to the Bible and God on the call for a courageous man. It was inspiring that the author’s creative way to show how to be a man of faith during these present times.
Daring: A Call to Courageous Manhood is getting five stars from me. I recommend it for men of all ages. I think it would make a great gift for Father’s Day, Christmas, Birthday or any other times of the year.

A amazing book, very easy to read and understand. It gives good tips on how to become a daring man who lives the way God wants him to live while giving biblical examples of daring Christian men and examples of daring Christian men and Non-Christian men from history and tries to explain why they did what they did in their lifetime. Also tries to ignite the same drive they had for their goal toward a different goal that being the goal of becoming a daring Christian man, the one that Jesus wants you to become.
