Our McNaneys

Rate this book
This book is about the McNaneys that were descended from William Henry and Sarah Grace in Elmira NY, or lived there when they raised their children, or married a McNaney, or are children of a McNaney. You will read about the seven children of William Henry and Sarah Grace, who lived in Elmira until they died. All four sons fought in World War II and returned safely to make their way in the world and raise their children. To me, all seven children were heroes. They lived their lives with distinction, with Irish loyalty, and loving their families. All were faithful. These were men and women with a range of talents. Some were athletes, some artists, and all hard workers. It’s not like they thought they were better than everyone else, but after all, they were McNaneys. The seven children of William and Sarah have all passed on, but there are still plenty of McNaneys in Elmira. It doesn’t matter where they live because they are McNaneys, and McNaneys leave their mark wherever they are.
