This book is about "Skinwalkers" and a bus wreck. It is also set around the Navajo Nation. A bab and it's mother are kidnapped and held for ransom. Hunter Long a member of Brotherhood is the best tracker and he is sent out to find them. Great book
I've always loved Linda Conrad's suspense novels, which is probably why I took a chance and picked up the first of her Shadow series. For some odd reason, I don't usually enjoy Native American heroes [maybe because I'm not overly fond of westerns?], however, I'm glad I read SHADOW HUNTER.
She's created a wonderful suspense series pitting medicine men in the Navajo Brotherhood against the paranormal shapeshifters who endanger their people. I'd recommend this one in a heartbeat!
Just a quick read. But it is good if you like Native America type books. It is about a Navajo Tribal special investigator recuing a woman kidnapped by shape-shifters.
