As you know, running a successful chiropractic practice is a juggling act. You need clinical expertise to provide impeccable care to your patients. You also need the know-how to run a small business. You ve probably been well prepared by your education and experience for the technical ins and outs of chiropractic practice. Yet what training has prepared you to run a business? The E-Myth Chiropractor fills this knowledge gap, giving you a complete toolkit for either starting a successful practice from scratch or maximizing an existing practice s performance. Loaded with practical, powerful advice you can implement easily, this one-stop guide enables you to realize all the benefits that come with a thriving chiropractic business. Combining the wisdom of renowned business development expert Michael E. Gerber and the chiropractic expertise of Dr. Frank Sovinsky, The E-Myth Chiropractor equips you - Rethink your practice, shifting from tactical thinking (working in your business) to strategic thinking (working on your business) - Liberate yourself from the predictable and often overwhelming tyranny of unprofitable, unproductive, and time-consuming routines - Manage those processes through which people get things done, which becomes your Management System - for everything you do - Implement innovative systems to produce consistent results as your practice grows - Create the story about your practice; this story becomes the heart of your practice
This E Myth book is not as good as the original and doesn't replace it. if you haven't read The E Myth Revisited, go read that instead - even if you're a chiropractor. I expected that this book would likely provide the systems and structure taught in the E Myth, but it does not do that. It does provide some inspiration and a few good insights. It's worth a read. On the down side, it repeatedly promoted the co-author's practice management company and seemed to serve as an ad for them. Lastly, I think Michael Gerber has a unique and entertaining reading voice. I have the audible version of both books. The audible E Myth Revisited is a treat and will motivate and inspire you. This book doesn't live up to it's predecessor.
looool as I suspected literal regurgitation of the physician version of this book I think the author literally copy pasted and then changed the word doctor to chiropractor - interested to see if he does that for his 300 or so other books on other industries but hoping I have access to books I actually want to read soon 🙏🏾 the co author chiropractor person did bring some interesting info so I guess there’s that but it was def giving ad for both of their businesses … not for me but likely literally this book is my father’s not mine
I read this book to understand my boyfriends chiropractic practice better. It was easy to understand and read as an outsider and recommend it to anyone who is in a relationship with a chiropractic practice owner
Working with Sidecar has shown me the impact that the principles in this book can have on a chiropractor's business. Using this book as a guide can "liberate chiropractors" like Dr. Sovinsky writes in the final chapter.
I read this then gave a copy to a chiropractor client and they really appreciated it applied many concepts into their practice helping grow 22% in that year
