Really only a 1.5. This was about a young woman who flees a bad marriage in 1895 and becomes a couturier in London. If you are expecting something like The House of Elliot or Laker's Banners of Silk, forget it. The first part was OK where she was breaking away from repressive life but then it became dull, dull, dull. The clothing never was truly visualized. There were too many people& too much happening from WWI thru WWII with all manner of deaths and reconciliations and the ending was abrupt and unsatisfying. Humpf!
