Rate this book
Rosie, to please her dying mother, agreed to marry Ken Latham, the handsome, rich boss she doesn’t love, but who has been regularly proposing to her. She rationalizes that she’ll have a good life with him and true love is only a fairy tale anyway. But that promise of a good life turns into a nightmare when Ken is mugged, has amnesia and breaks their engagement.
Also, Rosie and Ken have to deal with their company’s CEO, Lester, who sends Kirk, Ken’s identical twin, to investigate possible embezzlement at their building supply store. And someone is trying to kill Ken and also harassing Rosie.
Can they survive long enough to build their attraction into love?

While Rosie’s Mother’s dying wish is that she marry Ken her boss. So Rosie goes along with it to make her mom happy! When Uncle Lester believes his nephew Ken is embezzling money from the company he sends his twin Kirk in to investigate! When there is a mugging and Kirk is thought to be Ken the confusion and adventure begin. This book has plenty of drama! It was about a family company trying to keep secrets. Do u put family or business or visa versa.Poor Rosie is caught in the crossfire. I really enjoyed this book and recommend this book and this author!

Rosie a last commitment to her mother, she was now free of, but she still wouldn’t do that to Ken. If she said, as much would he fire her as his assistant. Brother, identical, people could hardly tell them apart. For Ken
his trait was gambling and Kirk wanted nothing more to do with it, Ken had to learn from his mistakes. Uncle telling of embellishment, was that true of
Ken.any what of his engagement. Good plot of family, love and hopes for a better future.

This book is well written, and character and story development are excellent. It did read slow for me. It’s a good, clean, no grammatical error book. I enjoy the Minnesota descriptions- with each book I’m getting more familiar with that area.

Good story.

I enjoyed the plot and the characters but did not care for the intimate sex scenes. Fade away and imagination are best if you have to go that direction.

A story with handsome male twins, amnesia, embezzlement, and mob hits should have been way more exciting. I never felt invested with the characters or saw any anguish or even upset that Kirk and Rosie should have at Ken's betrayal.
