This children's book presents scientific theories on the origins of the universe, the beginnings of life on earth, and the evolution of modern life forms. It also traces the evolution of humans from the earliest hominids through modern civilization.
I got this book for free from the author's website. Mr. Marshall is a former professor of mine and BU. He wrote this book quite some time ago, but it remains a wonderful primer about evolution. During the early days of the Covid-19 lock down, I read a chapter a day with my two middle school aged daughters. It was a great refresher course for me in both biology and anthropology (classes I took many, many years ago). I enjoyed it a great deal, and I think that they did, too.
