Short!

This very very short and quick tale is fine. Not much too it and is very condensed. If you like short stories it might be for you.

I was given a review copy of a short horror story called The Sweater by Michael Reynolds. I was excited because my absolute favorite thing to read are horror short stories. I hoped for a fun and creepy read and I wasn’t disappointed.

I don’t want to give too much away, but the plot centers around a young couple who struggle to make ends meet and try to find fun where they can. They score the titular sweater and a matching 50’s style woman’s outfit from a thrift store and are quite pleased with their finds. As an avid thrift store shopper myself, the story almost felt tailor made to unsettle me.

It’s a great story and I look forward to seeing more work from this author. I’d recommend this story to anybody who loves short horror.
