My kids weren't that interested in the story or the pictures. I was surprised since the pictures seemed fun enough. Oh well!

Perfect for the kindergarten teacher who came in today looking for "a book where the main character dresses up as what she wants to be when she grows up." Yup, Poppy has lots of ideas: diver, vet, soccer star. But she decides that her main job now needs to be taking care of her dog, Max.

Thick double-spread vibrant oil paintings elaborate the minimal text.
