He is a world traveler, explorer who suddenly inherits and becomes a Viscount. He returns home to take up his responsibility.
She is alone and out for revenge against the man who ruined her father's life. Taking on the role as the housekeeper in charge of running the Viscounts home, she has access to his many personal files. In coming there and making inquiries, she has stirred up interest from the wrong kind of people.
Can these two solve the mystery of not only who is attacking them but also solve the strong attraction that they have for one another.
I enjoyed this book. It had a few twists and turns.
I really liked the character of the Hero. Because of not being raised in the aristocracy, he is very down to earth.
I liked that our heroine wasn't afraid to admit when she was wrong.
I give it 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Secrets and adversaries....

Joshua Robertson is Viscount Dunalistar....he inherited the title from his cousin three years ago. But before that, he was an explorer, working with an Italian. He has plenty of secrets to keep hidden.

Arabella MacGibbon aka, Mrs. Clara Lewis, newly hred as Viscount Dunalistar's housekeeper, is young, beautiful and full of anger. That anger is brimming full of vengeance towards Joshua, her employer.

Great character develpment, an interesting premise with suspense and two very approachable leads.
Recommend.
