About the author

B. L. Bruce is an award-winning American poet living and working along the California coast. A two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, her creative work has appeared in numerous anthologies, magazines, and literary publications.

Currently working on her sixth collection, her books include The Weight of Snow, 28 Days of Solitude, The Starling’s Song, Measures, and most recently Blue California Sky.

Marvelous!

This is a most excellent collection of some of the best poetry I have read.
I am not a poet or writer, but I adore poetry, and love this.
Great use of nature themes, and vivid imagery.
I highly recommend this collection for the experienced reader, or just new to poetry.
I cannot wait to read her three other books!
