Nothing is easy about being a ghost sidekick. No one knows that better than Malcolm--especially when you're bound to a hard-living mage private investigator like Alice Worth. Alice is a danger magnet, and the long-suffering Malcolm has realized being dead won't keep him safe from the threats that haunt Alice's every step.
In this short story, Malcolm reluctantly takes on a case of his own when he encounters a recently deceased man who needs both a crash course in being dead and answers about his untimely demise. Welcome to Ghosting 101...
Note: This story was originally published in Blood Money, An Alice Worth Novella.
Lisa Edmonds was born and raised in Kansas. She studied English and forensic criminology at Wichita State University. After acquiring her Bachelor’s degree, she considered a career in law enforcement as a behavioral analyst before earning a Master's from Wichita State and then a Ph.D. in English from Texas A&M University.
For ten years, she was an associate professor of English at a college in Texas, where she taught a variety of writing and literature courses.
Now a full-time author, she shares a cute little Victorian-style home called the Storybook House with her husband and their cats. She enjoys writing, reading, traveling, spoiling her niece and nephew, and singing karaoke.
This short story happens between the first and second books of the series, and it's simply about Malcolm coming across a new ghost and helping him figure out how he died.
GHOSTING 101 [Note: This story takes place between [book:Heart of Malice|40786817] and Heart of Fire] is a fun short story about Malcolm helping Abe, new to ghost hood, determine how he died and explain a bit about his life as a ghost. (✮✮✮☆☆)
It was so short! Grate to see more of Malcolm but he didn't sound himself cus the narrator isn't the same as in the original books and I really love Felicity Munroe's narration. Not to say the narration wasn't good in a sence. Just that that's not how I'm used to hear Malcolm. One negative thing is, and this counts for meny male narrators, I don't like how male narratiors do female characters woice's.
