It was hard to read this book knowing how modern technology works. It was entertaining, but I didn't find it believable. Everything had lots of drama, and then it just ended abruptly. I found the characters likable.

This was the Reader's Digest version. This was a good mystery. A transient woman is accused of kidnapping the little girl she's traveling with, but a local officer believes her when she says the little girl is hers, that she gave birth to her. For a while anyway. The story is of the quest for the truth and to find the child that was kidnapped 11 months ago. Some good twists and several of the characters do things you wouldn't expect from them as they have been built. I liked it.

This book certainly lives up to its name, it is definitely a keeper. I started it last night and couldn’t stop reading it until I finished (ok I did watch Tiger win the U.S. Open, I am only human lol). The book is suspenseful, fast paced and full of action, i.e. my type of book. I don’t think Ms. Nickolae has written anything else but if she has I will eagerly scout it out.

Great story! Suspenseful up to the ending. We had breakfast with this author on our last cruise. If this was her first book, I can't wait to read the next one.
