Contract on America: The Mafia Murder of President John F. Kennedy

Rate this book
Robert F. Kennedy, in his 1960 book, 'The Enemy Within, ' identified organized crime as an 'invisible government' and wrote 'if we do not attack organized criminals with methods and techniques as effective as their own, they will destroy us.' If it is true that the assassination of John Kennedy was planned and executed by organized criminals, then the United States government, either through cowardice, incompetence or connivance, has let them get away with murder. Author David E. Scheim offers indisputable evidence of a chilling underworld scheme to control the government of the United States of America through fear, extortion, and cold-blooded murder... a terrifying conspiracy that didn't end on a Dallas street that fateful autumn afternoon over twenty-five years ago, but continues unabated to this very day!

Mostly hearsay and conjecture and no real evidence to the fact. The mafia are braggarts so of course they are going to say they did it but there is no concrete proof within the book.
The mafia worked with the CIA regarding Cuba and with the CIA about to be disbanded by Kennedy and the mafia owned unions being clamped down on by attorney general Robert Kennedy, they once more joined forces the CIA and mafia to dispatch Kennedy. Too far fetched for me but an enjoyable read if you are into conspiracy books

... and RFK, and Malcolm X, and MLK.... This is disturbing and even frightening.

This chronicles Mafia infiltration and dominance in vice, murder, and the U.S. Government; with extensive footnotes and appendix. It illustrates the nonviable society based on greed, fear, exploitation, and personal expendability.

Scheim makes an amazingly complete case demonstrating how Kennedy was killed by unprosecuted assassins. He demonstrates how, in Mafia economy, no one is indispensable and everyone is expendable.
If ever we let Organized Crime get control of the country, then we are doomed. Bobby Kennedy is right: they must be fought and suppressed in very sophisticated ways.

For a short set of facts, see Oliver Stone's JFK. Most of the details of the movie are in this book.

After you read this, you will have no doubt: the mafia did it. I learned a lot about the workings of the mafia from this book.
